Wonderful class in a gorgeous setting

We had a great time with Angelo cooking up some fun food. He has a charming personality and really made sure all of us had a some laughs. He makes sure that the eggs he uses are from happy chickens!🐔. They poured some prosecco for us as we were cooking the meal and his very cute niece Donatella helped out too! I would highly recommend this activity and the location was terrific as it is set in a very nice garden

We had a fantastic experience learning authentic Italian cooking, from pasta and meatballs to tiramisu. Everything we made turned out incredibly delicious. The chef was highly experienced and made the whole evening both enjoyable and informative. Set in a beautiful location, it was a truly memorable experience.

We had a wonderful time learning how to cook the meat dish and prepare the Tiramisu. Angelo was brilliant and went through every step with us. Then we sat in the gardens and ate our dishes. Fabulous. We can't wait to try this out when we return home. Would definitely recommend for an evening to remember.

The gardens are beautiful, the kitchen is airy, Angelo is great and the meal that we prepared was wonderful. We went with one other couple whom we had not met before and it was a wonderful evening.

I would highly recommend this experience. Angelo was great and talked us through every step. I can’t wait to try at home. Would definitely recommend the fish menu it was fresh and extremely tasty. They use produce from their garden which you can buy to take home. Don’t hesitate to book you will not regret it.

Highly recommend. This was an excellent experience and a highlight of our holiday. My husband & I were welcomed warmly, joined with 2 other people and had a fantastic morning learning to make Tiramisu and Meatballs in tomato sauce with fresh pasta. Angelo ensured that we all got equal time at each stage of the process, he was clearly very skilled in his craft and his sense of humour was much appreciated. Sitting down afterwards to eat the fruit of our labours with homemade wine was a fitting end to our experience. As well as taking some time to enjoy the lovely garden, complete with hammock and swing. We were so inspired, we went into Sorrento and bought some pasta making equipment to try at home. Thank you.

We happened upon a beautiful garden and discovered the Sorrento Tasty Garden We were welcomed in and the people were so friendly, we booked a class for our 2 couples. Next day, we were welcomed by Chef Angelo and his cousin Giuseppe. That’s when the fun began and never stopped. Not only did Angelo do an exemplary job in teaching us the chosen dishes, he gave us all of the chemistry behind each action so that we knew WHY we were doing everything. He was so funny and included everyone at the class. His warmth shown through, even at his young age as he told us how he cooked with his nonna and therefore he discovered his love for cooking. Then we ate the food we made and had wine and topped off the meal with limoncello. I thought I knew a lot about cooking but he expended my knowledge immensely! This is clearly Angelo’s calling. It helped that we had a mother and daughter at the class who were delightful. Lucky us. Do you want an authentic Sorrento Italy experience? Go to this cooking class. You won’t regret it.

The cooking class at the Tasty Garden in the Lidia Suite was undoubtedly one of the most beautiful experiences of my stay in Sorrento. From the moment you enter the lovingly designed kitchen, you can sense the warmth and passion with which the food is cooked. Between lemon motifs, handmade ceramic plates, and the scent of fresh herbs, a journey begins that goes far beyond a typical cooking class experience. With charm and expertise, Angelo and his team guided us step by step through the preparation of three typical dishes: a delicate Parmigiana di Melanzane, homemade pasta with a rich tomato sauce à la Sorrento – and, finally, a divine Tiramisù al Limoncello, which was worth the trip alone. Every step was lovingly supervised, every technique was patiently explained, always with a smile and the typical Neapolitan joie de vivre. I was particularly impressed by the combination of professionalism and ease: We not only learned a lot, but also laughed, tasted, photographed – and enjoyed together. The fresh ingredients, the skilled craftsmanship, and the atmosphere of hospitality and enjoyment make this course a true gem. If you want to experience Sorrento with all your senses, you shouldn't miss this course. Thank you all for this special day – I will treasure it with a warm smile and the scent of fresh basil!
