Carl knew his information. We were given shot glasses at the beginning of the tour but didn't get a discounted drink or any purpose for the shot glass around my neck. The story telling could have been condensed. Four people dropped out of the group before it was over.
Guide (Carl) was very knowledgeable about history. However, this tour was not ghost stories. It was more about people dying (expired not necessarily murdered) in different locations. One stop is a cigar bar, we stayed outside for a quick stop instead of visiting. Thank goodness. Three stops in total. Disappointing when compared to tours like this in other cities. Last bar was overwhelmingly crowded and loud with college aged guest. Lots of sitting and listening to history.
Very fun evening and great history! Our guide Hailey was awesome and has a fun personality! I would recommend!
No actual ghosts but we had a GREAT time! Neat stories and a fun group.

Steve was very notably knowledgeable about the town and the crazy creepy stories all that haunts around the city of St. Augustine. 10/10 would recommend 🫶🏼

We had the best time on the GhoST Augustine Haunted Pub Tour! I went for my bachelorette with my two sisters, and it ended up being such a fun and memorable night. Our guide, Carl, was absolutely amazing—so natural at storytelling and incredibly knowledgeable. He answered all of our follow-up questions about the history, timelines, and events in so much detail, which made everything even more interesting. Our 8:15pm tour had a small group, which made it feel really personal and relaxed. The walking distance between stops was super manageable, all within close proximity, and even at the busier bars we had no trouble getting right up to the bartenders to order drinks. Carl truly made the experience—he was engaging, fun, and clearly passionate about what he does. I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting St. Augustine, whether you’re celebrating something special or just looking for a unique night out!
