We did a great tour with the guide Linn. From the beginning it proved super friendly and attentive. We explained everything about the city and was totally flexible to our interests. We could make the tours and schedules of our wishes. He's also a great photographer. If you want to know Yangon better, take this tour.
Our guide was profesional, spoke well english and has showed us the most important sites. We have aleays felt safe in his presence and he was very courteous and friendly with a “can do” attitude.
Picked up by driver Kemso and our guide So. So is 26 and very proficient in English. She is educated and was a bar tender. Wants to work on cruise ship. Very nice young lady. Both work for Roadtoburma Travel Co., Ltd. We signed up for this tour on-line. We visited the Shwedagon Pagoda, the Reclining Buddha, took a trishaw ride, rode the loop train, visited Sula Temple and the park and ended the day with a visit to a local mall. We enjoyed lunch at Padonmar Restaurant and So gave us several tips on places for dinner (they were all excellent). Very professional organization. We would highly recommend their tour.
Best Yangon City Tour with Experience English Speaking Guide Yangon (Rangoon) Exploring Yangon's Colonial Past 744813767 Last Nov. 2019 I stayed at the Loft Hotel Yangon for 4 days and three nights. I made arrangements for a city tour at this wonderful hotel and promptly the staff at the reception contacted a licensed tour guide named U Htun Aung Kyaw a gentleman of Nepalese origin who spoke very good English. We hired a taxi that took us around the city - the temple museum, Swadagon temple, the beautiful park where one finds the Buddhist temple, Catholic Church, Islamic Mosque, Hindi Temple surrounding the park. Then Aung Tun directed the driver to take us around an area where the British colonial buildings are located. It is interesting to note that the colonial buildings are in good condition although some need restoration. Aung Tun was patient enough to explain the brief history of the colonial area. We had a sumptuous Burmese lunch at Bogyoke Market. At the Bogyoke market one finds jewelry stores, handwoven fabrics, fancy jewelry, local handicrafts and food stalls everywhere. For $1-$5 your lunch is in order!
We enjoyed a great day exploring Yangon with our excellent guide Linn and driver Aung San Oo. Linn and Aung San Oo picked us up from our hotel on time at 08.30am and was keen to tailor the day so that we saw everything we wanted to see and at our pace not their's. We enjoyed their sense of humour and had a fun as well as interesting day seeing some of the real Yangon not just the tourist spots. Both spoke excellent English and Linn was always available to take photo's with both his phone and our own camera. The owner Andrew has also been a great help in forwarding Linn's photo's to us so that we have a great record of our excellent day exploring Yangon. We chose Roadtoburma as we really liked their proposed itinerary and their flexibility in allowing us to visit Kandawgyi Lake instead of Bogyoke Market. They did not disappoint. Highly recommended

A great tour with a great guide. Linn and his driver took us around Yangon and showed us in great detail and gave us very explicit information. A tour not to be missed. When requesting something they did their best to accommadate us.
Hello Tassos ! Thank you so much for your great feedback and we are very happy to hear that your 3 pax family satisfied our services. Of course, we will pass your great words to Linn and driver as well. We do hope to meet you again in Myanmar and we wish you all the best. With warm regards, Roadtoburma Team
Three days with Linn: promises made and promises kept, with more delivered than promised! To be honest, we weren't very hopeful, since we arrived on a cruise ship to a port considerably south of the city. The traffic was horrendous, and we were moving. Linn used the time to acquaint us with what were going to see, as well as telling us about the places that we were going to visit. While we all thought "yeah, sure; not possible to see everything. Linn delivered everything plus more during our time with him. Our entire group was very pleased, and only sorry that our time with him was going to end.
Hello Charley! We miss our days with you in Myanmar and thanks a lot for your details feedback. Yes although we don't have time much with you, Linn & driver got a great time and learned a lot of experiences from you. Sure we hope to see you again in Myanmar and wishing you all the best dear. With warm regards, Roadtoburma Team
We had a terrific day yesterday with our guide Linn and driver as we visited many spots in Yangon. Everything went well: on time arrival, clean and air conditioned car, making changes to itinerary as requested. Linn was extremely knowledgeable and shared a great deal of information with us as we walked, drove and took a tri shaw ride. We even learned some great tips for taking better photos with our phones! Thanks Linn for a great day!
I like to travel semi-independently hiring guides from place to place. I was given Linn's contacts by another traveller and in the end to count on him was a great decision. We spent a day around Yangon with many nice spots. Linn took care of us throughout and was very informative and entertaining. Normally, as you can see from my TA activity, I don't leave reviews for guides but he truly deserved to be mentioned. linn.travel@gmail.com +959440223071
Our day in Yangon was made by booking a day tour with our guide Linn, not only was Linn resourceful in knowledge he was also such a fun person to spend the day with, we felt like we were out with a friend as opposed to someone doing a job. As a well seasoned traveller it’s rare for me to seek out tour guides but for Yangon I am glad I did - this is a culture rich destination and it would be a loss to not have a local providing you with insight along the way. This is a well worth tour - I requested Linn to be our guide having read previous positive reviews from other travellers, he did not disappoint!
