Durante este recorrido a pie único de 3 horas, exploramos los principales sitios históricos y delicias gastronómicas del casco antiguo de Valencia. ¡Hay mucho más que solo paella! - Disfrute del bar de tapas más emblemático de la ciudad, saboreando un clásico aperitivo español -Pruebe una bebida tradicional valenciana recién hecha, que rara vez se encuentra en otros lugares. -Visita el fabuloso Mercado Central, uno de los más grandes de Europa. Pruebe y aprenda sobre los ingredientes de auténticas recetas españolas. -¡Te contaré todo sobre el fascinante mundo de las tapas españolas en restaurantes familiares, donde hay historia, pasión y amor en cada receta!

Itinerario
Comenzaremos en nuestro punto de encuentro, la Catedral de Valencia, con una introducción al casco antiguo. Luego, pasando por callejones e iglesias icónicas, caminaremos hasta un café tradicional cercano para probar la horchata recién hecha. Aprenderá cómo se hace esta bebida valenciana única, y cómo beberla como un local emparejado con un delicioso pastel ligero y esponjoso llamado farton.
En el camino hacia el Mercado Central, exploraremos la parte antigua de la ciudad con sus coloridos edificios, hermosas plazas y ¡sentirás el gran ambiente de la zona! ¡Haremos nuestra segunda parada de comida en una tienda de dulces tradicional! Nuestro siempre favorito!
En nuestra tercera parada, visitaremos un hito de la ciudad que tiene casi cien años; El increíble Mercado Central. Aquí aprenderá sobre los platos valencianos más tradicionales, saboreará el mejor jamón español (jamón ibérico de bellota), así como el queso de oveja español artesanal. Mientras estemos en el mercado, nos uniremos a los lugareños en un pequeño bar de tapas de la granja a la mesa. ¡Prepárese para convertirse en español!
En el camino a la próxima experiencia deliciosa, verá uno de los edificios más emblemáticos del casco antiguo, La Lonja, y algunas otras gemas culturales. Luego nos dirigiremos a uno de los mejores bares de tapas tradicionales, que es muy querido por los valencianos. Abierto desde 1946, siempre se ha especializado en pescado fresco. Mientras tomas unas tapas, aprenderás todos los consejos y trucos para disfrutar las tapas como un local.
Al final de nuestro viaje gastronómico, probará croquetas españolas deliciosas y deliciosas (hechas con jamón de bellota) mientras saborea el aperitivo español más auténtico. ¡Es el regalo final perfecto para sus papilas gustativas! A wonderful, authentic and very interesting tour! Vivi immediately put us all at ease and we quickly bonded with the rest of the group. The atmosphere was relaxed, informal but very informative. I think Vivi knows all the food producers in Valencia as we walked around. You will taste authentic food and drink from the region and learn so much. Book this tour, you won’t be disappointed.
Vivi was an excellent and delightful guide. She accommodated a slight slower pace we needed. Food stops were excellent. She knew all the owners well. Hisorical information was very good. Excellent English.
The tour guide never showed up and did not respond to messages. Other tour companies contact me via WhatsApp if there is a problem. This company ignored me. I had to find another tour and I lost time.
I definitely recommend this tour. Vivi is a fun and informed guide, who willingly answers questions. She speaks English really well. There was actually more great food than I could eat, as well as local drinks. Many of the stops that Vivi selected were owned by third generation family members. We also had delicious treats at the Central Market. This tour is a perfect way to start a visit to Valencia.

Vivi is a great food tour guide- she gives really enthusiastic and engaging introductions to every establishment and food item. She tells us tidbits about history, shows us cute and interesting places and neighborhoods and, most importantly, brings us the best foods and drinks! I learned so much and felt so happy after this tour. Her enthusiasm is infectious. Highly recommend.
Vivi knows everything there is to know about this wonderful city. She is intelligent and interesting to listen to and all the food stops were superb- no tourist traps, just really high quality food that represented the best of valencia. Each stop told a different story and from different eras and cultures that shaped the history of this part of Spain. So many highlights We thought the market was exceptional with the freshest of every fruit , vegetables, meat and fish - the eels were so fresh they were still swimming! It’s such a shame I couldn’t take some of the items home with me So many different tastes - the Vermouth de Casa, Horchata and Fartos the finest aged ham, the list goes on At the end of the tour we wanted try some ice cream and Vivi showed us the best in the city even though it wasn’t part of the tour. We would highly recommend Vivi- she gives so much of herself, and makes it so enjoyable. We had a wonderful experience with Vivi. She is fabulous, fun, and incredibly friendly. We tried so many great things — nougat, sardines, horchata, croquettes, and plenty of drinks along the way. What is there not to love? I would highly recommend her tour. You also get a great sense of the city with the history she shares — Roman, Arabic, and Spanish influences — so it really feels like two experiences in one. We had such a lovely time at the market that we went back the next day for oysters and fresh spot prawns.
We had a lot of fun, were able to taste different typical local specialties and also learned about the city and its inhabitants. We also got a list of recommendations for restaurants, which was extremely helpful. A great tour!
