My partner and I really appreciated how this tour balanced guided sightseeing with time to wander on our own. Florence is one of those cities where every street seems to reveal something beautiful, and having a chance to explore independently made the visit even more enjoyable. Pisa was smaller but equally worth seeing, especially the famous square around the Leaning Tower. The transportation was clean and comfortable throughout the day. We never felt hurried, even with two major destinations. Overall, it was an easy and enjoyable shore excursion.

I joined this excursion on my own and immediately felt comfortable with the group. The guide kept everyone informed while still allowing enough independence to explore each destination. Florence completely exceeded my expectations with its beautiful streets, churches, and lively atmosphere. Pisa was a great final stop, and I had enough time to walk around the famous square before heading back. Everything ran smoothly from pickup to return at the cruise port. I would definitely choose this tour again if I visited the region.
We had limited time in port, so this tour seemed like the smartest choice. Visiting both Florence and Pisa in one day sounded ambitious, but everything flowed surprisingly well. The guide handled the schedule professionally while keeping the atmosphere relaxed and friendly. We appreciated having free time instead of following a large group the entire day. Seeing the Leaning Tower before returning to the ship was the perfect ending. It was a full day, but definitely worthwhile.
This excursion gave us exactly what we were hoping for from our stop in Italy. Florence was stunning, with beautiful buildings, lively streets, and plenty of little cafés to enjoy. After that, Pisa offered a completely different atmosphere, and finally standing beside the Leaning Tower was something we'd wanted to do for years. The transportation was comfortable, and the organization throughout the day helped everything run smoothly. We returned tired but very happy with how much we experienced.
Traveling with our family from the cruise ship, we wanted a tour that covered the highlights without feeling rushed. This day trip did exactly that. Florence was beautiful to explore on foot, and we had enough free time to grab lunch and browse a few local shops. Pisa was every bit as impressive as we expected, and finally seeing the Leaning Tower in person was a memorable experience. Transportation was comfortable, everything stayed on schedule, and we returned to the ship with plenty of time to spare. It turned out to be one of our favorite days during the cruise.
This a jam packed day with lots of beauty and history! Lorenza was an AMAZING guide and so very helpful. He made our day with my disabled 88 mother stress free and so enjoyable!! What an awesome Tour Guide and human being!!!
If Luca is your tour guide then this is not really a guided tour, just chasing a fast-walking man around the city. To start, there was no sign labeled “JAT” like there was supposed to be to meet your guide. I was literally yelling his name at the meeting point for 15 minutes and he did not show up until 8:30 (tour information said it started at 8 am). Bus didn’t show up until 9 AM so we only got to have 15 minutes in Pisa. Luca did not give our group any information, he did however do a great job of making sure we navigated public transportation. He then left us alone in Pisa to get back on our own with the driver. This was not worth the price at all.

In full accordance with the “Meeting and Pickup” section, we pick up guests at the meeting point designated by port officials for all independent shore excursions. 2. The JAT sign was clearly displayed in the windshield of the coach. Since you passed it several times, our tour coordinator had to follow you and call out to you. 3. Pickup is clearly stated as a half-hour process. If you do not wish to wait for fellow cruise passengers to disembark, please consider booking a private tour rather than a shared tour. 4. Guide services are not provided during the port transfers, but only in Florence and Pisa. This information is clearly stated in the tour description. When booking future activities through Viator, we strongly recommend basing your expectations on the tour description and itinerary rather than personal assumptions. Safe travels.
I wish I could give a zero star. We couldn't get on the excursion as they are not able to find my name. Attempted to get my refund and they insisted we were not at the right meeting point. The voucher provided by Viator doesn't has the correct tour operator. After asking the local people and showed them the name of the port, they told us we were at the right location. We were very upset and attempted to get our refund and ofcoz they put the fault on us not to follow the instructions correctly.

According to La Spezia port security, you were looking for our tour in three different locations and asking tour operators unrelated to Viator, instead of following the clear pickup instructions communicated to you by email and also available on the Viator website. These instructions simply advised you to take the shuttle from the pier to the designated pickup area. Meanwhile, we attempted to contact the phone number provided at the time of booking, but our calls were unsuccessful. More than 250 of your fellow cruise passengers did not experience any difficulty joining this tour. When booking future activities through Viator, we strongly recommend following the pickup instructions provided and not looking for a Viator sign, as Viator works with many suppliers in large ports, each using its own identifying sign to greet mutual customers.
