First I booked my Tibet tour staring from Chengdu. The I decided to fly by myself to Lhasa, and start the tour from Lhasa airport and asked the price to be recalculated. The system, some chat, was not friendly, I was refused. The new price would by 300 US $ less. Thus, I was forced to pay almost 2000 US $. The visit to Lhasa and around was o'k. I got from you a voucher for ~ 99 US $. I need and ask to be compensated for my loss, the voucher should be 200 US $. You do this for me, then I will use these 200 US $ in October when visiting Taipei, Taiwan. I hope to see you understanding the case and reward me with a voucher of 200 US $. Waiting for your positive reply.
Thanks a lot for your feedback, but really can’t understand, you choose this private tour and not join small group tour, which means solo one person pay by yourself for hotel, transfer, guide, sightseeing, etc, the cost is not cheap, and the tour cost doesn’t include flight tickets, we clearly state it, the tour description say from Chengdu indicates you flight or train from Chengdu to Lhasa, because the city name need to be mentioned on the permit, people can flight from Beijing, Chongqing or other cities, too. As operator, we didn’t know your communication details with Viator, just received your tour confirmation, and get everything arranged accordingly, didn’t force you to accept the price, any customers are free to book or don’t book, what we do is offer the best services to make your trip successful, and you enjoy the trip, I keep the video you enjoy your time and lunch with our guide at Yamdrok Lake, the voucher is not from us, if you are not satisfied with the amount, please contact with customer service center, we can do nothing, and we are not operator for tour in Taipei.

My Chengdu tour operator, Samtour, and my local guide, Lobsang, were excellent! I feel I really saw the most significant parts of the area. This was honestly one of the best trips of my life and I've done a fair amount of travelling in my 56 years. I pride myself on the efficiency and non-redundancy of my touring choices, so I'm almost embarrassed to say, I'd do this same tour again next week if I could.
