El Godfather Movie Tour

An excellent tour one of the best that I’ve been on and one of the highlights was visiting Castello Delle Schiavi. This was where Apollonia was killed in the car and where Michael Corleone died outside the castle on a chair. Carmelo was our driver and guide for the day. He was excellent in informing us of certain scenes and areas that were used during the filming.

This tour was AMAZING! We all thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Peter, our tour guide was fantastic. Highlight of the tour for us was visiting castello degli schiavi. Highly recommend.

Allessio provided us with a private Godfather tour on our trip to Sicily. The experience was great from start to finish, the tour was very informative and expertly carried out. There were traffic issues on the day but they did not affect our tour at all as with a few tweaks Alessio made sure we got the full experience. The cost of the tour was high, because I asked for a private tour for my Wife and I but the value was in the expert manner in which the tour was carried out. Alessio gave us every penny of the money paid with a detailed and enjoyable tour taking in all of the main points of the Godfather film locations. He is well respected by all locals in the areas we visited and this just added tonthe whole experience. We had extended time with our guide on the day due to traffic which I was impressed with and we weren't rushed at all in the day as we took it all in. His expertise on the subject matter is superb and as a big movie fan I even learnt things I never knew. This man is highly recommended and if you can stretch tona private tour it is well worth the extra money spent. Grazie Mille Allesio.

This tour was absolutely amazing and our guide Alessio could not have been better!!! He was extremely knowledgeable about the film, super friendly, and easy to talk to!!! He answered all of our questions with ease. We visited several locations and were in awe each place we went. Beautiful scenery and wonderful way to make the connections between scenes from the movie and on site locations. Highly recommend!!!

Carmelo the tour guide was absolutely brilliant. His knowledge of the film is incredible. He even tells you why they chose the locations and little tricks they used to shoot the scene. He introduced us to the Baron at the house and when we got to Bar Vitelli there was a table waiting for us. He even shows you a clip from the film at every location on his phone. I can't thank him enough for a fabulous day and if I could have I would have done it again the next day. Thank you Carmelo for making a Godfather fan a very happy man.

Our guide Alessis was very knowledgeable and he showed and told us some things about the Godfather. Movie that were unknown to me, and I thought I was an expert. He is truly an asset to your company. One of the BEST guides I’ve had. And I’ve been doing Tours for over 25 years.

Our guide Peter was AMAZING! Ask for Peter! He had a very good knowledge of the Godfather films and history. He had several movie scene clips he showed us at several points during the tour. The visit to the Castello degli Schiavi is a 18th-century Sicilian Baroque villa in Fiumefreddo di Sicilia where they filmed several scenes and is owner occupied by the 88year old Baron Platania who was 28 when the first movie was filmed. He charges 25euro cash per person for the tour and WELL WORTH IT!! We even had a picture with him!! We then visited the town where the house is that was supposed to be where Don Corleone grew up and where they held the Puppet Show! We stopped for lunch at a fabulous restaurant Antichi Muri that had delicious food at excellent prices and Peter treated us to a fresh Canolli😋 Francis Ford Coppola needed an old bicycle for a scene where a priest gives Diane Keaton a bouquet of flowers as he rides by and he just happened to have an old bike in his garage!! Then onto Bar Vitelli where the scene of making Appolonia’s father a deal he can’t refuse 🤣 To go into the bar and take pictures the prices are steep!! 7.50Euro for water 😳 We then drove back along the beaches and listened to lovely music!! We had a great group and Peter is the best tall Dude!! Highly recommended!!

Our driver Carmelo was amazing! We had the best time. He was very informative and made sure we as a group were all on the same pages to what we wanted to do!!

This is a must see especially for all of you Godfather fans. Our tour guide Peter was on time, knowledgeable and was an excellent driver.
