Isla Lokrum, visitaremos la cueva más grande de Dubrovnik, llamada la cueva del Pidgeon. Aislada, en el lado exterior de la isla, su entrada está rodeada de rocas escarpadas y de vegetación mediterránea que sobresale de las rocas. Puedes imaginar su génesis, cómo las enormes y fuertes olas que golpean las rocas durante miles de años han dado forma a esta maravilla natural.
El Fuerte Lovrjenac, a menudo llamado "Gibraltar de Dubrovnik", es una fortaleza y teatro fuera del muro occidental de la ciudad de Dubrovnik en Croacia, a 37 metros (121 pies) sobre el nivel del mar. Famosa por sus obras de teatro y su importancia en la resistencia al dominio veneciano, eclipsa las dos entradas a la ciudad, por mar y por tierra. A principios del siglo XI, los venecianos intentaron construir un fuerte en el mismo lugar donde actualmente se encuentra el Fuerte Lovrijenac. Si hubieran tenido éxito, habrían mantenido a Dubrovnik bajo su poder, pero la gente de la ciudad se les adelantó. Las "Crónicas de Ragusa" revelan cómo se construyó el fuerte en tan sólo tres meses y desde entonces se reconstruyó constantemente. Cuando llegaron los barcos venecianos, llenos de materiales para la construcción del fuerte, se les dijo que regresaran a Venecia.
Las Murallas de Dubrovnik son una serie de muros defensivos de piedra que rodean la ciudad de Dubrovnik. Se construyeron murallas en las zonas periféricas de la ciudad, incluidas las laderas de las montañas, como parte de un conjunto de estatuas de 1272. Las murallas de la ciudad existentes se construyeron principalmente durante los siglos XIII-XVII. Los muros recorren un curso ininterrumpido de aproximadamente 1.940 metros (6.360 pies) de largo, rodean la mayor parte de la ciudad vieja y alcanzan una altura máxima de unos 25 metros (82 pies).
La Villa Sheherezade está situada en una ubicación exclusiva en el corazón de Dubrovnik. Construida originalmente en 1929 por el adinerado judío ruso, Vilim Zimdin, en honor a su misteriosa amante llamada Sheherezade, de quien la villa sigue recibiendo su nombre.
Ya en el siglo XIV, tras el aumento de las epidemias de enfermedades contagiosas, el gobierno de Dubrovnik decidió construir las primeras cuarentenas para aislar a los viajeros y examinar los bienes destinados a la distribución, y en 1590 comenzó la construcción de Lazareti en Ploče, que duró hasta 1642.

Beautiful views of the wall and island. Boat is well maintained and the young Captain was wonderful and very informative. If you are prone to sea sickness this adventure is not for you, the seas are choppy. Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful time on this sunset boat trip with Jakov/Jacob. It was such a lovely chilled experience with a friendly skipper who was very knowledgeable and took great care when the sea was choppy. We particularly enjoyed the music and the drinks were good too. All in all a fantastic experience and a great way to see this beautiful city/old town :)

Our skipper Mario was lovely. Prompt and professional. Hubby and I had the pleasure of a private sunset experience. Drinks were offered and we connected to the Bluetooth speaker and played some time tracks for 1.5hrs. Mari warned me that the waters were abit choppy due to the windy. I got sea sick towards the end of the cruise. The waters were wilder than I expected but a great experience none the less.
