Amazing experience learning about the cultures. Muhammad was so nice. We visited x3 souks. Had a small boat ride. So generous with tastings which were more like a meal ended with a Camel milk ice cream which was very creamy. Highly recommend this walking tour
We went on a tour of Old Dubai with Mohammed and we had a fantastic morning. We were picked up by a lovely driver right on time who got us to the meeting point and was there to collect us at the end. Mohammed made the tour fun and enjoyable, sharing stories of the history of Dubai, answered all the questions we had and even told us some stories relating to his family and experiences living in Dubai. The tour felt really personal and the time flew by. At no point did we feel it was a hard sell for anything, the snacks and tastings were so good and when we return to Dubai I would actually love to do the tour again, especially if we got Mohammed again. Also to note it was over 40 degrees the day we did the tour, however along with some walking we always had shade and air conditioned stops so it didn't feel too warm. I would definitely recommend this tour to everyone
We turned up at the meeting point almost 30 minutes late and the group had progressed through the tour. However, our guide, Hassan kept on messaging me via WhatsApp and providing us with the location of the group so we could catch up. Eventually, we did catch up because Hassan moved at a slower pace for us. Hassan had exceptional knowledge of Dubai as well as Abu Dabi, and he was able to switch between English and German for the benefit of a German couple who were also part of the small group. Hassan was extremely patient and gave time for questions. It was an extremely hot day in August so I would recommend that you go first thing in the morning, if possible. We made a pit stop for some refreshments, and those who had paid for a snack were given some food. Hassan made the tour absolutely stress-free, so I would recommend that you ask for him whenever you are going on a guided tour of old Dubai souks.
The tour of Old Dubai was an exceptional experience. Our transfer to the tour was polite and got us to and from our destinations safely. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, bringing the city’s rich history to life. The food tastings were a highlight, with each offering different flavors and showcasing the region's culinary heritage. Exploring the lively souks added to the fun! Overall, the combination of insightful guidance, amazing food, and the atmosphere made this tour truly memorable.
