Pruebe los sabores del sur de Florida mientras lo llevamos fuera de lo común y lo llevaremos a restaurantes de propiedad local. Comenzaremos con una masa tradicional cubana de queso y guayaba mientras disfruta de las vistas al mar. De eso se trata nuestro recorrido gastronómico ... sabores locales, historias locales, sitios locales. Te sentirás como si estuvieras caminando por el centro de West Palm Beach con un lugareño que te llevará a sus restaurantes favoritos y te presentará a divertidos chefs y dueños de restaurantes en el camino. Hablando de caminar, caminará un total de 1.5 millas durante 2.5 horas, así que espere caminar alrededor de 3 cuadras entre cada restaurante. En el camino, compartiremos algunas historias locas de nuestro pasado y aprenderemos sobre los vibrantes murales de la ciudad. Salento Coffee es una de las cafeterías locales favoritas y es propiedad de un equipo formado por marido y mujer de Colombia. Jaime muestra a nuestros invitados cómo hacer un tipo particular de café colombiano, y luego todos compartimos una deliciosa tradición colombiana.
Es hora de mostrar y contar las frutas tropicales, y probarás y aprenderás sobre cocos, tamarindos y limas. Disfrute de una demostración de corte de coco que promete ser bastante memorable. Our guide, Raheem, was friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and made the entire experience feel fun and effortless. His enthusiasm and storytelling really brought each stop to life. I had an excellent experience with Raheem, he was very informative, fun, helpful, and friendly. The food was amazing, there was a variety of food, drink, and dessert to try including a cuban pastry, fish taco, ice cream, French ham sandwich, dumplings, meat skewer and veggies, fresh coconut and tamarind juice, and key lime tart. They were sample sizes of each of the items so I thought it was a good portion of foods so that you won't feel overly stuffed at the end. Overall, I did think it was pricey but it was nice to stroll through downtown to try all of the food and learn about the history the area. I would recommend to book this tour earlier in the trip just in case you would like to go back to visit one of the restaurants, we ended up going to Shanghai'd for dinner!
