Tour en grupo pequeño por la Abadía y el Pueblo de Downton desde Londres

Rory was a great guide and it was easy to find the meetup spot and him. We headed out to Brampton and Rory provided lots of interesting info on the way out. Once there he led us around and showed where many of the exterior shots were done...as we were standing on the exact location. Then it was on to Highclere Castle, which was excellent. We had plenty of time for self-exploration with a handout, and there are guides in each of the rooms as well. It was amazing to be standing there where so many memorable scenes from the show were filmed. It was a great day. Quick note on the driving- the road portions from London to Brampton, Brampton to Highclere, and Highclere back to London were all about 1-1.5 hours each, so you may want to bring something to read or listen do during the bus rides.

This was a well developed tour. Toured Bampton with a focus on scenes from the filming and some background. Loads of Downton Abbey facts and background points provided by our tour guide Rory who did an outstanding job. Truly enjoyed our day.

This tour was as advertised. Great, fun day where we were able to see “Downton Abbey” and the supporting film locations. The castle visit was enjoyable and I appreciated being able to visualize the rooms where various film experiences happened. So appreciate the owner’s willingness to share their home with all of us. The countryside you’re able to see from the castle lawns is so beautiful. Our tour guide, Michael was great and he provided several insights into the film as well as fun facts about the behind the scenes scenarios. I’d take this tour again. If you’re a Downton Abbey fan it’s a must see!

What a wonderful day! Eva was amazing. She was engaging, funny, knowledgeable! Michael was a great driver. This was a "bucket list" item and we thoroughly loved every minute of it! Thank you Eva and Michael!

This was a good tour. We saw Bampton the village used for Downton Village. Lovely church. After the village we spent about 2.5 hours at Highclere. Our guide was great and it was fun riding home watching the first episode of Downton Abby.

For a serious Downton Abbey fan this was perfect day. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about the show he was proficient and witty. Our driver was excellent and we appreciated the stop along the way for bathroom break

Great tour to visit the village of Downton Abbey and Highclere Castle. The time at each location was plenty to see the sights from the show. Our guide Richard was great, lots of fun stories and knowledge. Highly recommend this tour. One note, we went on a Sunday, so if you want to see some of the shops in the village avoid Saturday.

It was a wonderful experience. I was joined by a very nice lady from New Zealand. We enjoyed a scone and the gift shop after. I could have spent a few more hours there to see garden. Next time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our day at Brampton and Highclere Castle with Michael and the fabulous driver Frank. Comfortable coach, Pitstop comfort stop and just a very well organised day out. Would recommend to all
