Opciones de la excursión
Itinerario

Vasco was an amazing tour guide. This was a great, very personal tour where we got to see his family's Quinta, see how they make their wine, and meet the family dog Cacao. We loved the nearby winery where's we did an amazing tasting before heading back to our train stop. We can't wait to head back in 6 years to try the orange port.
It was a very personable tour. The family owned winery was beautiful and the guide was very attentive the entire time. The cheese and meat board at the first winery was amazing and it was lovely to hear the explanation of the production of different wines. Cacao was definitely a highlight as well!!
Vasco was a gracious host and chose a beautiful 18th century winery for out first tasting. The estate was beautiful and the wines superb. There was a delicious spread of foods to pair with the wines. We then tasted at his family’s Quinta for white wine, red wine and different ports. I would highly recommend this tour if you are looking for an intimate experience.
We booked this tour because it was a more intimate wine experience than most listed. I liked the fact that it t included a tasting from Vasco’s own family winery. We had a wonderful experience tasting at another of his favorite Quintas and his own winery. The food was fabulous and paired well with the wines. Vasco was a gracious tour guide. We would highly recommend this tour!!
A very good, pleasant and interesting tour with a high standard from our guide Vasco - well worth the money!
Vasco is a terrific ambassador of the Douro Valley. He picked us up from the train and gave us a wonderful tour. The views are marvelous from every point, and he gave us a patient, thoughtful explanation of the valley and the villages. At the first winery, we got a great explanation of the winemaking process from the owner who was very generous with his time. The second winery was in a beautiful setting and included an tasty cheeseboard.
We are seasoned travellers over many years across much of the globe. This experience is both personal and very authentic. We were able to experience the family produced wines of our host and gain an intimate understanding of the challenges posed to small scale wine production. The two very different Quinta visits of the tour contrast well the different scales of wine production and also the individual challenges faced by the hosts including global warming. Our host was helpful, most hospitable and knowledgeable. The tour was at a perfect pace, unhurried and very enjoyable - overall the experience was excellent value.
My sister and I found this tour just scrolling through Trip Advisor and are so glad we stumbled upon it. Great transportation and insight from our guide Vasco. It was a very personalized tour and Vasco was great at answering any and all questions we had. We got to see two wineries and definitely enjoyed the tastings! I would highly recommend this tour!
We had an absolutely wonderful tour of the Douro and Vinho Verde regions! Our guide Vasco was not only friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable. It was a special treat to visit his family's beautiful quinta, where we indulged in a wine tasting of their wines (which were very good!!). The experience was truly amazing! Later, Vasco took us, in a land rover, to the stunning Vinho Verde region, where we visited another remarkable quinta and savored the unique flavors of their Vinho Verde wines. We had an amazing time, this experience felt very personal and was the absulte highlight of our Portugal visit!
