Bueno para evitar multitudes, guiamos a grupos pequeños que le brindan una experiencia personalizada de inmersión más local. La calidad de nuestros guías, vinos y bodegas visitadas destacan de otros tours. El recorrido comienza con una visita a un productor de vino de Oporto: Quinta da Roêda. Habrá una visita guiada personalizada por los viñedos donde se explicará el proceso de elaboración del vino de Oporto. La cata de vinos irá acompañada de una cuidada selección de quesos Portugueses. Después de la degustación, nos embarcaremos en un paseo en barco de 1 hora donde la calma del río nos inspirará. Este relajante paseo es el mejor momento para contemplar el paisaje y la naturaleza del valle del Duero. El almuerzo se sirve en una hermosa granja con vistas a los viñedos donde hay varias opciones de comida : pescado, carne o vegetariana. Todo está incluido en el precio. La segunda bodega es una pequeña productora de vino de mesa, Será una oportunidad interesante para tener más contacto con los lugareños. La visita finaliza con una cata de aceite de oliva.

Itinerario
La recogida se realizará en un punto de recogida en la ciudad de Oporto, el trayecto hasta el Valle del Duero es de aproximadamente 1h30 minutos.
Visita a la Quinta do Panascal donde haremos un recorrido por los viñedos y una degustación de 3 vinos de Oporto.
Viaje de una hora en un típico barco de madera desde Pinhão.
Breve paso por el pueblo de Pinhão en el corazón del valle del Duero.
Pasando por la estación de tren de Pinhão.
Almuerzo en una bodega con una selección de pescado, carne o platos vegetarianos. Vista panorámica de los viñedos.
Visita a un productor local donde degustaremos vinos de mesa, aceite de oliva y miel. Excelente momento para la interacción con los lugareños.
Regreso a la ciudad de Oporto con entrega en el punto de recogida.

We had an incredible tour to the Douro valley. Our guide Sarah was fabulous. She arrived right on time, was friendly, knowledgeable, funny, excellent English, and a good driver (very important in Portugal where some drivers are definitely not!) The tour itself was wonderful. We had booked this tour because it included options other than port, which we had tried at home and didn’t really love. Port here in Portugal is way way better! The first stop had 3 different ports - a white, a ruby and a tawny and all were excellent! The next stop was the boat ride which was beautiful. After this was a delicious lunch (I had chicken and my husband had fish and both were great. Lots of wine with lunch. Next we went to an organic winery and had a white, a rosé, 2 reds and a port. We bought some to take home it was so wonderful (note only one place was selling things which was perfect for us - don’t love being asked to buy over and over). They also had olive oil and 3 types of honey. Highly highly recommend!!!

Do not pick this company if going with a group bigger than 8. We had a group of 10 and I found out the day before our tour (and after we had been charged) that 2 people were going to be split from our group and put with another group and tour guide. The company acted like it was no big deal, we would only be separated for the driving part. It was a big deal. The driving is the majority of the trip. It was unfortunate because 2 people from our group had a completely different experience than the rest. We were under the impression from the beginning that they could accommodate a group of 10. If we would have known that they couldn’t then we would have went with another company.

As stated in the tour description, this is a Small-Group Tour, with each vehicle accommodating a maximum of 8 guests. Since your booking was for 10 people, the group had to be divided between two vehicles. We understand this was disappointing, but unfortunately it is not possible to exceed the vehicle capacity. We took the Douro Valley Premium Small-Group tour with guide Sergio, had a wonderful day from pickup from our hotel in Porto, very picturesque ride to the Douro Valley, two stops at lovely wineries with tastings of Port and wine while enjoying scenic overviews of the beautiful Douro Valley, informative tour of how Porto is made, scenic stops for pictures, a lovely river cruise then fantastic lunch with wine outdoors in the shade at a winery turned boutique hotel. We finished with a final Port and wine tasting at a unique winery before heading back to Porto and drop off at our hotel. Sergio was a fantastic tour guide, knowledgeable, considerate, so pleasant and fun to spend the day with! We highly recommend this tour for a great day out!

Our guide, Nuno, was very friendly and knowledgeable. The tour itself is well-structured to give you a perfect day-trip glimpse of the beauty of the valley and great variety of wines while never feeling rushed. Overall, amazing tour well worth the price. However, it would be great if the company could be more flexible with pickup location. Our group (which consisted of us and another family) were all staying on the Gaia side and were all told we could only be picked up on the Porto side of the Luis I bridge - which for us was a 25 minute walk from our hotel in the early morning. If the company knows there are only two groups of guests all staying on Gaia, it shouldn't be so difficult to adjust the pickup strategy.

What a wonderful experience. Nuno was our guide and was truly excellent and so caring. We happened to get lucky being paired with just one other couple for the trip and they were awesome. We started out driving to Douro valley. Stopped at one place and got to try 3 different port wines. Then we went to the boat ride which was really lovely. After that we stopped at a lookout point to take a photo. Next we had lunch and it was just the perfect setting outside. The chicken was absolutely delicious. We had white and red wine at this stop. Lastly, we stopped at an organic winery and had such a lovely man show the group around. It was informative and very well done. We had a few wine and port tastings, got to try 3 types of honey and their olive oil. After the tour you were able to purchase whatever you liked. It was a full day from 830-530 but I wouldn't have changed a thing.
