Descripción
El segundo túnel fue descubierto en un área a 13 kilómetros al norte de Cheorwon dentro de la DMZ el 19 de marzo de 1975. Como arco de rocas, tiene 2,1 m de ancho, 2 m de alto, 3,5 km de largo y está ubicado entre 50 y 160 m (160 y 520 pies) bajo tierra. Alrededor de 30.000 tropas armadas podrían infiltrarse a través del túnel en una hora con vehículos, piezas de artillería e incluso tanques. Está disponible para explorar 500 m de longitud del túnel por ahora y es accesible hasta la línea límite sur más cercana. Es posible observar la exuberante vegetación cerca de los puestos de guardia y los puestos generales de salida de Corea del Sur frente a los puestos de guardia, Naktagoji y Kim Ilsung goji de Corea del Norte. Los orígenes del edificio no están claros, ya que los registros indican que fue construido a principios de 1946, antes del establecimiento del Partido de los Trabajadores de Corea del Norte (antecesor del actual Partido de los Trabajadores de Corea).
El segundo túnel, construido por los norcoreanos para invadir Corea del Sur, fue descubierto el 24 de marzo de 1975. Este túnel tiene 3,5 kilómetros de largo y se encuentra entre 50 y 160 metros bajo la superficie. Se extiende 1,1 kilómetros y 2,4 kilómetros en las direcciones sur y norte respectivamente. Sólo 500 metros están abiertos al turismo en toda su longitud. Dentro del túnel hay una plaza para reunir una gran fuerza militar. El túnel se divide en 3 salidas. El uso de este túnel permitiría el paso de treinta mil fuerzas armadas y tanques por hora. Por ahora, el túnel funciona como parte del Curso de Turismo de Seguridad de Cheorwon y muchos turistas visitan esta zona cada año.
Observatorio de la paz con tres pisos y un sótano, inaugurado en noviembre de 2007. El primer piso es una sala de exposiciones y el segundo piso es un observatorio, que permite a los turistas observar el ecosistema, la fortaleza de la ciudad del castillo de Gung-Ye, la meseta de Pyeonggang y la ciudad de Seonjeon. de Corea del Norte en la DMZ. Cataratas Bidulginang El nombre "Bidulginang" proviene de la palabra Coreana “nang”, que significa “nido”, inspirada en los cientos de palomas blancas que una vez anidaron en una cueva detrás de la cascada. El 26 de septiembre de 2012, la Administración del Patrimonio Cultural designó el Pocheon Hantangang Basalt Gorge y Bidulginang Falls como Monumento Natural n.o 537. Gracias a su impresionante ubicación y belleza natural única, las cataratas también han aparecido en dramas históricos populares como Los cazadores de esclavos (Chuno), la reina Seondeok y el guerrero Baek Dong-soo.

I had a brilliant day out hosted by the fantastic Winnie despite a change in the tour itinerary due to it being a national holiday. Despite this she created the day into one of the best tours I've ever had anywhere in the world. She was full of knowledge, always attentive, there to answer questions and take photos of you wanted. My partner and I had a terrific day out and learned a lot about the history of the Korean peninsula. The military stew was interesting for lunch too! I felt it was quite a laid back day albeit it is quite a long one so make sure you account for that when it comes to what you bring with you on the day. 100% recommend and thoroughly enjoyed.

An unforgettable experience! We were on a tour for around 7 hours, it was really convenient with all the stops on the go. The crowd wasn’t big, so everyone could enjoy.
