Emprenda un viaje privado de un día al atardecer a Cape Sounion. Nuestro viaje comienza con un maravilloso viaje por el Atenas Rivera. Durante este relajante paseo disfrutarás de espléndidas vistas del Golfo Sarónico mientras pasas por algunos de los suburbios más bellos de Atenas, como Glyfada, Vouliagmeni y Varkiza. Al llegar a Cape Sounion, visitará el siglo V a. C. Templo de Poseidón con su magnífica vista panorámica del mar Egeo (en un día despejado se pueden ver varias islas). El cabo Sunión ha jugado un papel importante en la mitología e historia griegas, y la primera mención registrada se produce en la Odisea, ya que el último aterrizaje seguro antes de Poseidón dispersó a la armada griega que regresaba. Como dios del mar, Poseidón era muy importante para los antiguos griegos, y la escala del Templo en Cabo Sounion lo refleja. Después de visitar el Templo, lleno de la belleza, la historia y la cultura de este sitio, admira una de las puestas de sol más increíbles que puedas imaginar. Theo, our driver was really knowledgeable and we had a fabulous relaxed time. On the drive down he showed us places we wouldn’t have gone such as into the yacht club with the super yachts and knew where to stop for good photos. Lovely experience at The Posiedon Temple watching the sunset and wasn’t too busy. Then had a lovely rustic meal at a taverna on the sea front. Was lovely to chat to a Greek about just life in Greece in a comfy air conditioned car.
Great visit to the Temple of Poseidon. We had 5 hours to fill in before our flight from Athens. Picked up from the cruise port at Piraeus in a lovely Mercedes Benz. Driver Georgis had excellent English. He told us music history as we drove along the Athens beach line coast to Cape Sounio and the Temple of Poseidon. The Temple was not crowded and had easy steps to reach the summit. Fabulous views across the bay as well. Afterwards we had time for lunch and Georgis took us to a waterfront restaurant with an authentic Greek seafood lunch. Delicious.

Giorgos made the end of a very long travel day relaxing and comfortable while we checked off Temple of Poseidon off the bucket list. Accommodated separate pick up and drop off points, very informative and excellent restaurant recommendation. Truly charming.

Our tour guide Harry was very knowledgeable and very interesting to listen to. Also pretty nice guy. We went to the location and he explained a lot of the things along the way, sites , history of Greece etc. We went to a restaurant that was overlooking the Temple of Poseidon and the food was great. Then we drove to the location and saw the temple of poseidon. As the sun was going down. The trip back to the hotel was enjoyable. Harry offered to stop at an ice cream place but we were too full. It was a great trip to take. To see some different locations away from the center of athens.

The guide was really helpful and friendly and did his best to ensure we had a great experience. He worked on our behalf with the local restaurant, and staff at each stop to ensure we were taken care of. But overall it seemed he was making up for a lack of planning by the company. There was no reservation at the restaurant and there was a private party so we had to go to a backup restaurant which was clearly not happy that we were ushered in ahead of other people waiting there. We were served out of obligation and did not feel at all welcomed. The temple and sunset were amazing though.

Some prefer fish some others meat etc. So we have a variety of great restaurants and each one of them is top at its field. According to what was your request about the meal our driver took you to the one that was closer to that. Thank you again and always at your disposal.
It was great experience ! The ride with Dimitris was amazing ! He gave us a ride and explaining landmarks and their history along the way. He was also very hospitable with the treats he Provided also the yummy gelato treat on our way back to hotel. This excursion was amazing. It was one of my favorite excursions in Greece. The view from Poseidon Temple was unbelievable. The sunset was breathtaking. Our driver Theo was very knowledgeable and funny. He asked us if we had seen several places and we told him we had. We told him the only thing we hadn’t seen was the Olympic stadium. He said he would take us there even though it wasn’t part of our tour. He was so accommodating. Crispy Local is a wonderful company to take tours with. The drivers are the best.
