Desde Akureyri, conduciremos durante unos 30 minutos hasta nuestra primera parada, la hermosa cascada llamada Godafoss. Vea las cataratas desde varios puntos de vista y camine por el sendero para disfrutar de la oportunidad perfecta para tomar fotografías.
Conduzca por la zona del lago Myvatn, que tiene un paisaje único desde el mejor mirador. Haga una breve parada para tomar fotografías con vistas al lago Mývatn. Disfrute de toda la majestuosidad de este paisaje único. Decenas de cráteres salpican el paisaje, resultado de antiguas erupciones volcánicas.

Un recorrido panorámico desde Ásbyrgi a Húsavík. Este encantador pueblo pesquero es la capital del avistamiento de ballenas en Islandia. No tendremos tiempo para ese día, pero sí para admirar el bullicio del puerto central, así como una de las iglesias más hermosas de Islandia. La parada en Húsavík dura unos 20 minutos. El viaje de regreso a Akureyri dura 1 hora, donde te dejarán en el puerto.

Fantastic day experiencing a variety of things Iceland has to offer. Good info about the country, the people, and the history.
We thoroughly enjoyed this full day tour and learned so much. They were very mindful of cruise ship return times and we never once felt worried or hurried. Highly recommended.
Another excellent tour with a great variety of stops that showcased the incredible beauty and diversity of Iceland. Our guide, Sigurjon, did an outstanding job sharing interesting facts about the country’s history, culture, and traditions. What made the tour especially enjoyable was how he connected those stories to his own life, explaining how Iceland has shaped him and his family. Those personal insights made the experience feel authentic and gave us a much deeper appreciation for the places we visited. A sandwich was provided during the tour, and there were also several opportunities to purchase coffee, snacks, and additional food along the way, making it easy to stay comfortable throughout the day. I highly recommend this tour, especially if you have Sigurjon as your guide!
Our Diamond Circle tour was one of the highlights of our trip, and Sven made it truly unforgettable! He was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and shared so many interesting facts about Iceland. What really set him apart was his willingness to go above and beyond by making an extra stop so we could see the puffins. Tour was canceled twice by the provider because the cruise ships did not align with the tour schedules. I did not have another day where I could reschedule. This is a cruise port and all tour activities apparently revolve around the scheduling of the cruise passengers. This can eliminate travelers who are not cruise people. It sure did with me.
We had a great time. Our driver was great and our guide kept playing us music! The sandwiches provided were pretty good.
Well organized, good communication even with confusion and delays in getting off ship. One member of our party fell and had to be taken by ambulance but all was handled and the rest of the group was able to continue. Good flexibility for another group member with physical limitations. And, of course, the scenery was amazing!

This was not the original tour we booked but a great substitute. The 3 stops around the lake were all so different and very interesting. Coming from Florida we have nothing like this! Excellent guide who was very knowledgeable.
