Well the provider failed to show up. We waited and waited but no one came. It was disappointing to say the least and we are requesting for a full refund.
This was a nice experience, love the dinner in the desert and the dancer show! the sites on the way is peaceful, love the date trees.

This was the cheapest Desert Safari I could find at just 35AUD so I was hesitant at first that it would also be a "cheap" experience. Luckily I was wrong. My driver was Mamoon who is such a lovely man. He went out of his way to make my experience relaxing and memorable. I would highly recommend him to everyone. I paid for the quad biking experience as an add-on to the safari. You are given your own quad bike and 20 minutes to drive around a marked area in the sand dunes. Although I had fun doing this, I think the experience is also good without this add-on. After quad biking we were taken on a "dune-bashing" 4x4 drive. I have done quite a lot of 4x4 driving in my home county so this was not the main draw for me. Despite this, the driver was very good and ensured that everyone on board had a great time. Finally was the desert camp. This was the highlight for me. You are taken to a location where you can take a short ride on a camel, have your hand tattooed with henna, smoke some shisha and enjoy a massive buffet while watching live performances. I only wish we could have spent more time here. This activity is perfect for families, friends or a solo traveller like myself. It is very 'tourist-y' but you're probably a tourist anyway so why not?
