The tour was great, we got to see a lot in one day. Our guide Sebastian was very helpful. It was a little tight with 8 people in the van that transported us around all day, but it was manageable.
Would definitely recommend this tour - it covers 700 km in one day, the small van format enables you to maximize time and visit these beautiful countries, but not be rushed. Plenty of time to visit historic places, view the beautiful landscapes, taste the local cuisine, take pictures and shop. Samuel was an excellent tour guide. He explained the agenda for the day up front, was very knowledgeable, and a good driver. Van was clean and water was provided.
A great experience. We enjoy a lot the trip and the guide, Sebastian, was fantastic. He recommended lots of great places and was very helpfull with us. Highly recommended!
Enjoyed my time venturing around both cities. Lucky was a great tour guide, brought along great treats, a very good family man. It is a long day so be prepared to get back in the evening. I will def have to go back to both places
This is a great opportunity to add two beautiful cities to your European tour in one day from Vienna. The driving is well worth it for the experience!! Samuel and Rasťo were great guides that had great info and guidance during the day. Only thing I would recommend is for Viator to alert booked clients to be aware that host company uses WhatsApp to communicate. We did not know this and also didn’t get a direct email, text or call from the host company like was stated in the confirmation. Only messages were on WhatsApp that I rarely use.
We just returned home from a one-day trip to Budapest and Bratislava, and although it was a very long day, our tour guide, Lucky, made the experience truly enjoyable! Lucky took excellent care of us throughout the entire day. He made sure we had plenty of water, was extremely knowledgeable about all of the locations we visited, and gave us plenty of time to explore on our own. He also created such a fun sense of camaraderie among everyone in the van, which made the long day even more pleasant. What really stood out was how thoughtful and helpful Lucky was. At one point, he even went out of his way to assist another family with getting to their next destination. We even witnessed a wedding! Lucky was a fantastic tour guide, and we truly appreciated everything he did to make our day special. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, caring, and personable tour guide!
Samuel was amazing. This was a small group tour. We had 8 people. Samuel was knowledgeable and very kind. Would 100 recommend taking this tour.
We had a great tour! Our guide Samuel was so helpful, informative, and friendly. We learned a lot about the culture and the history of the cities. The tours gave us the highlights of Budapest and Bratislava with just enough free time to explore on our own. Would highly recommend!
We enjoy our tour well organized and our guide is very good highly recommend .we travel 2 countries in 1 day from Vienna to Budapest and next to Bratislava a very stunning countries
Our tour guide Maria was excellent. From pickup to storytelling along the way and at each stop, she was very entertaining and informative. The van was comfortable and we got to see a fair amount of each city and spend some free time shopping and enjoying the local food. I would definitely do it again.
