Descubra la fascinante Cueva Pellumbas, también conocida como la Cueva Negra, ubicada cerca del pueblo de Pellumbas en Albania. Nuestro viaje comienza con un recorrido panorámico en automóvil de 35 minutos desde Tirana hasta el pueblo de Pellumbas, donde nos embarcaremos en una memorable aventura de senderismo. El camino bien señalizado, de dificultad moderada, serpentea a través de un paisaje cautivador que incluye frondosos bosques, el tranquilo río Erzen, la majestuosa montaña Dajti y vistas impresionantes de la ciudad de Tirana. Mientras caminamos hacia la cueva, sumergiéndonos en la belleza natural, el viaje dura aproximadamente 1 hora. Al llegar a la entrada de la cueva, haremos una breve pausa para recuperar el aliento antes de aventurarnos al interior. El interior de la cueva es amplio y se asemeja a una mina subterránea. La cueva Pellumbas es famosa en Europa por sus seis galerías kársticas bien definidas y se encuentra a una altura de 350 metros, formando un túnel que se extiende entre 70 y 80 metros de longitud.
Después de explorar la cueva Pellumbas, emprenda un viaje panorámico de 35 minutos hasta el castillo de Petrela, una fortaleza histórica ubicada a 12 kilómetros al sur de Tirana. Con raíces que se remontan al siglo IV d. C., este castillo bien conservado cuenta con impresionantes muros y torres de piedra, que ofrecen a los visitantes una visión de la arquitectura militar medieval albanesa. It was an amazing experience, my guide Riges was really experienced, generous and fun, we got to see the cave and bath in the river next to the canyon! The hike was quite easy (It was my second or third hike, so I'm a beginner tbh), and we had no problems at all! Just as a reminder, the water is freezing cold 🥶
I needed this adventure for my sole. I would have never done it and felt the joy of discovering without my gentle and smart guide. He used to play in these mountains when he was a child! A gentle reminder: Just wear your hiking shoes :)
The walk was very nice and beautiful. Our guide adapted well to our pace and we had a lot of fun with him. He also had a lot to say about Albania and almost always had answers to our questions. After walking for an hour we arrived at the cave. We walked in there for a while and it was special to see. The guide guided us well through the cave and helped us where necessary. After getting back to the car, we drove to the river. We didn't swim because it had rained. That was a shame, because it also made the tour shorter. It was really beautiful and fun.
Valter was an amazing guide! The hike is a bit arduous - not for beginners but fantastic. Swimming in the canyon was a highlight, along with eating at a local restaurant afterward and chatting with some of the local villagers. Highly recommend this experience. Thank you!!

Amazing nature, with an amazing and fearless guide. A very hard hike in the heat, not for the fainthearted, but its worth the pain after! We saw waterfalls, the cave, and climbed a lot of rocks.

I’m gonna try and keep this review short, simple and to the point. I was very ill on the day we began, vomited multiple times, felt like passing at at various stages due to suffering from a bad cold. Our tour guide carried me, made sure I was ok, helped with my sickness and pretty much saved my life, WHILST at the same time making it so enjoyable with the history and facts. We did the whole thing. The guy that took us is a legend.

You have a wonderfull (mountains, river) scenery along the path towards (and also backwards) the cave. The cave is impressive in dimension and (rock) formation. Heldi is a great, reliable guide and could tell you quite a lot things about nature and history of albania. He was very helpfull and assisted whenever you asked it. Only he could have gone deeper with into the cave.. Pick up and drop off were prefect.
