Desde Sorrento : Tour de día completo por Positano, Amalfi y Ravello

We had a perfect day out there and visited three towns in a row. The pace was just perfect. Our guide Nino was great, a Sorrento native and really knew his way around the coast.

We had a wonderful experience with Tempio Travel and would do it again. The Amalfi Cost tour from Sorrento was amazing! The transportation was comfortable and the driver helpful. We would totally recommend this tour to anyone who wanting to see the Amalfi Coast. Ask Etorre Arcari to help you organize your tour. He is great and will give you the information and suggestion you need and you will have a great time.

This was not a “tour.” It was a drive with a driver. He told us almost nothing about where we visited, did not bother to use the microphone in the van, and did not speak English well.

Marco the tour guide made the experience enjoyable with great info and funny jokes. The only downside was the 2 hour stopping time in positano and amalfi which could have been more.

If honestly and integrity are important then don’t use this company. We went here with our 5 month old baby to ask if they could accommodate her on a boat tour. We were ensured they could, told a car seat would be provided for the travel to the boat, and an infant life jacket would be on board the boat. They also claim to cater to dietary needs so we noted that we are vegan and they said we would have a vegan meal waiting for us. Needless to say when the van arrived to pick us up there was no car seat. When we asked why they said it was a short and slow drive. We reluctantly got in the van and it was an 18 minute drive on fast and windy roads. When we got to the boat dock I confirmed again that a life jacket for our baby would be onboard and was told not to worry, they personally assured it would be. We then boarded the boat and it took off with no safety protocols mentioned. I asked for the life jacket and the boat steward shrugs and then hands us an adult life jacket that was larger than our baby. We were then stuck out to sea with no way back. Not surprising after the experience we had thus far, but when the meals were provided there was no vegan meal for us. When we got back and told the manager all this we were assured a partial refund that would take a day to process. A day later and nothing so we went back and were then told they decided it was our fault for not bringing a life jacket and said they were not refunding any of our money. They also state there was a vegan meal if we had asked, which is a complete lie as we did. If you have children and want to secure their safety then avoid this provider, and if you prefer honesty then I would also choose one of the many other providers throughout Sorrento. It is clear that taking your money is their only concern.

There is not one bad thing I can say about this tour. Our guide Francesco was not only knowledgeable but very passionate about his homeland. He always asked are we comfortable and made a point to stop at every worthwhile spot for pics. His spot for lunch was right downtown so we did not lose time driving to another location. Francesco’s English was perfect so there was no confusion as to where we wanted to go and his humor was great.

Definitely a great experience and a must see if you are in the area. Tour operators were very courteous and the price including lunch was worth it all, but the best was our guide. Safe and experienced driver, spoke fluent English had lots of insider knowledge, very polite and a British sense of humor. Ask for Nino. I can imagine he can make the sun shine even if it’s raining! We were lucky and had the tour for 4 in a Mercedes Van, weather was great and most of the tourists seemed to have left due late season. So, we experienced most of the sights in a more relaxed atmosphere. Positano was impressive, Ravello a beautiful village and Amalfi nice but a little too touristic. However, the best there was the beach and a swim in the Mediterranean Sea – even end of October. So, don’t forget your bathers.

This tour felt pretty rushed. There was not a lot of time at any of the stops and traffic is horrible on the coast. This is not necessarily the tour operators fault, but you spend more time in the van than exploring the sites. There is one very curvy road that spans the Amalfi coast and this road is very busy in tourist season. Most places you had about an hour once the van stopped. These cities are on hillsides too, so if anyone has mobility problems- this is not a lot of time. Lunch was nice. Observing other options to see the coast, in times where traffic is terrible/high tourist season. I would recommend boats.

This was a good tour which allowed one hour stops in Positano, The Amalfi Coast & Ravello. Personally I did not enjoy the lunch, prepare yourself for the windy roads & the vehicle could have been cooler as it was a very hot day. On the other hand, Fabio our tour guide was good & polite, the group of 8 interacted well & the sights were breathtaking. I would highly recommend the private tour, unless you can handle the windy roads in a bus. Just go for it as the experience is WOW!!

8 of us were picked up from Sorrento at 8.30 for a full day with photo stops, 2 hours in Positano, 3 hours in Amalfi and an hour at Ravello. The driver Francesco was very good and the 8 of us had a great time. There was an optional boat tour of the Amalfi Coast but having been to Capri the day before with Tempio Travel, we opted to spend more time looking around. There was lots of traffic on the way up and we didn’t exactly see a lot of buses on the way up. Those we did see many were standing. If you only have a day or so to see the Amalfi Coast then this tour is a must.
