A memorable day out on the water. We reached the Blue Lagoon early, long before the crowds poured in, which meant we had this stunning stretch of crystal‑clear turquoise water almost to ourselves. Being able to swim, float, and just take in the scenery without the usual chaos was absolutely worth it. The boat itself was comfortable, and the smaller group size made the whole experience feel more relaxed and intimate without the loud party atmosphere which suited us. Both swimming stops were gorgeous, with water so clear you could see straight down… even though you definitely can’t touch the seabed at either location. The only downside was the lack of safety instructions. There were no briefings on emergency procedures, and flotation devices weren’t readily available for those that need a bit of help in the water at the swim stops. Because both swim spots are deep and require confidence in the water, I’d recommend this trip only for those that can swim. Overall, highly recommended! Overall, a beautiful and peaceful way to enjoy Comino and the Blue Lagoon — just be mindful of the safety limitations.
It was so much fun. You get to swim in some of the most beautiful water in the world and see a couple islands from the sea. We had a wonderful time. If you do the afternoon trip, bring a long sleeve shirt or dry clothes, the ride back is cool.
The boat was super good, efficient crew, friendly and very professional. The drinks that were being sold were frozen, despite the heat, and the parades were all held with respected duration as well as the tour had been sold.
I would not recommend this trip. The itinerary I purchased is nothing like what we received. Once you are on there, they can do whatever they want and no one to hold anyone accountable for the deviation from the itinerary you “thought” you were going on. Time in the areas are too short and a joke. Blue Lagoon is just another tourist trap. They have food and drink trucks taking up all the walking space. Even access to the water was PACKED. No where to sit or put your bags down. The ride out for us was horrible. The swells were so bad, we had people sick and it was not pleasant. I wish we would not have gone on this trip and saved the money to do something else.
The swimming spots are amazing , but be prepared for the blue lagoon. It could be a little overwhelming. Because there is a lot of people. So just find a spot to settle in and enjoy the wonderful water and the amazing nature around it.
Relaxing day, nice boat, well organised. Good facilities on the boat. Amazing views at Comino and Blue Lagoon. Highly Recommended!
Thank you
The boat staff did not make it clear to how to go into the caves and we totally missed the opportunity to do this. The boat dropped us off and left for 2 hours and there was not much to do. When the boat returned we sat on it for over an hour waiting for others to return.
It was fine, basically a glorified ferry taxi ride for the most part. Very little information given during the boat ride. Lots of free time, depending on what you booked. I'd probably skip this tbh and just do a solo independently planned day trip to Comino and/or Gozo where you're not tied to some arbitrary schedule dependent on others
Lots of seating on both levels, efficient boarding process, friendly staff. Stop for swimming & at Comino were fantastic! Lots of leisure time, great food & drink choices on the island & glorious blue water!
Really good experience! Before you board it’s worth noting that the bar only takes cash - so have some euros with you. Fast service out to Comino and great stops.
