Desde Salta: Serranías del Hornocal y el cerro de 14 colores
Descripción
Comenzaremos el viaje hacia el cerro de 14 colores, también conocido como las Serranías del Hornocal. Saldremos de la ciudad de Salta para ingresar a la provincia de Jujuy, donde visitaremos la Quebrada de Humahuaca, Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO, pasaremos por el pueblo de Volcán, Purmamarca donde encontraremos el majestuoso Cerro de los 7. Colores; Tilcara; Humahuaca, el pueblo más grande de la quebrada; Uquía, pequeño pueblo donde residen las antiguas pinturas de los Ángeles Arcabuceros; Huacalera, donde pisamos el corte imaginario del Trópico de Capricornio y finalmente, La Paleta del Pintor en Maimará. Una vez que llegues a Uquía, te trasladarás a un vehículo 4x4 donde comenzará el camino hacia Hornocal para disfrutar de esas magníficas vistas panorámicas. De regreso se hace una parada en Humahuaca por 20 minutos. Se recomienda llevar comida para el almuerzo ya que no hay tiempo para detenerse en algún restaurante en Humahuaca.

Salimos desde la ciudad de Salta hacia San Salvador de Jujuy. Tendremos paradas técnicas para que los pasajeros puedan ir al baño o comprar algún snack.
Parada técnica para aprovechar e ir al baño y comprar provisiones.
Visitamos el cerro de los 7 colores, uno de los pueblos más característicos de la quebrada de Humahuaca.
Visita al pueblo de Tilcara, donde se encuentra el Pucará.
Visita a la iglesia del pueblo y a la fábrica de cerámica.
Una vez llegues a Uquía, te trasladarás a un vehículo 4x4 donde comenzará el camino hacia Hornocal para disfrutar de estas magníficas vistas panorámicas. De regreso se hace una parada en Humahuaca por 20 minutos. Se recomienda llevar algún lunch o algo ligero para almorzar ya que no hay tiempo para detenerse en algún restaurante en Humahuaca.

If you only go on one tour out of Salta, this is the one I would recommend. It’s well-organized, packed full of beautiful stops, and Santiago is an amazing guide who’s passionate about what he does (his driver, Juan, is also super cool!). My favorite tour of the trip! Also, for English speakers, Santiago’s English is very good, so you won’t have to worry about missing out on anything.

Good afternoon We could not carry out the excursion on the scheduled day because our arrival flight to Salta City was delayed. We informed the tour operator, and they told us that we could reschedule. We did, and they never came for us; they left us waiting at the hotel. We made the claim, and they told us that they had started the process for a refund and that Visto owes us the refund, but we have not received anything. A comprehensive tour of several lovely towns throughout the Quebrada de Humahuaca with our informative bilingual tour guide, Jesi. We enjoyed seeing the artisanal crafts and the small museums in Purmamarca and Tilcara. The trip to Hornocal is something we will never forget - nature’s bargello! - and we managed to catch a small herd of vicuñas on the way down. Amazing.

We had an amazing day. Our guide Fabio was amazing. He made the entire trip so entertaining and it felt more like a trip with family and friends than with a travel agent.
