This was an amazing tour. The hikes, the waterfalls, the swimming were all such fun but what made it truly special was our guide, Ricardo. He was the most wonderful guide. His stories about the history of the area were great. His enthusiasm was contagious. He was such a kind soul. Oh and the lunch, also amazing!
If you like nature this trip was fantastic. Getting to see a different side to Portugal was wonderful and also learning lots about the places and the people who live in the national park was really interesting. Our guides Renate and Miguel were very friendly and passionate people who made the trip even better. I would highly recommend this adventure.
Wonderful experience for nature lovers to see a different side of Portugal other than the more touristy attractions. Amazing nature and great guides.
I had a realllly incredible experience, this was definitely one of the highlights of my stay at Porto. We did a ~2hr drive over to Geres and hit the day running small off-roading adventure and short hike to an incredible waterfall and pool. After taking in the views we had a great lunch at a local restaurant in Fafioa (the Wolf Village) where our guide told us about some history/ folklore in the Village and showed us around. We ended the day with one more extraordinary waterfall and view and came back to Porto safely. Our guide, Miguel Ribeiro, was exceptional! He listened intently to what we were interested in doing, kept us all very safe, but was still very fun. I'm very happy I got to do this and it is something I would do again!
This is a must do, especially if you enjoy hiking and nature. Ricardo, our guide, planned a fantastic day for us. We were eager to explore and it did not disappoint. The hiking and swimming are fantastic. Ricardo was warm and kind, and we enjoyed talking with him. He showed us around the town and it was obvious he was warmly regarded there. We had a delicious lunch - one of the best of our trip. 10/10, a beautiful day, and if you are lucky enough to have Ricardo as your guide you will be even more blessed.

Didn't know much about the national park before going. I enjoyed the tour so much! It's so lush and it's healing being in the nature. Lucky to be in a small group and everyone is so friendly. The pace is about right, some hiking, swimming, love the country food and village tour as well. We talked to our guide Ricardo all the time and learned a lot from him. To him, it isn't really a "job", it's something he enjoys doing too.
A great day out with our guide Diogo. He accommodated all our needs and gave us his full attention the whole day. The village food was also delicious.
This was a fantastic experience and Adriano made it extra special. If you love nature and a trip off the beaten path, this is for you. Swimming in the lagoons was spectacular, and the lunch was delish. I can't recommend this tour highly enough.
Beautiful waterfalls, hiking incredible, so much fun! The ride out was smooth, our guide took the time to make everyone feel special and he did a great job!
