Esta impresionante prefectura está bendecida con castillos históricos, agradables canales, campos exuberantes y el lago más grande de Japón. Un festín para los ojos y el estómago, esta cautivadora región también alberga la marca de carne wagyu más antigua de Japón, así como una de las tiendas de dulces más singulares del país. Este recorrido lo llevará a dos ciudades con castillos, Hikone, con uno de los castillos más antiguos de Japón, y Omi Hachiman, conocida por sus encantadores canales. Nuestra primera parada del recorrido es el Castillo Hikone, uno de los castillos mejor conservados de Japón y tesoro nacional. Es uno de los doce castillos originales que quedan de la era Edo. Varios de sus edificios han sido designados Bienes Culturales Importantes. Tu guía te llevará a través de los terrenos del castillo hasta la torre del homenaje, explicando las características únicas del castillo a lo largo del camino.
Luego tendremos tiempo para un relajante paseo por el jardín Genkyu-en. El jardín, diseñado para parecerse a un jardín de palacio de China, cuenta con un estanque central con senderos para caminar y ofrece increíbles vistas del castillo. Tendrás la oportunidad de probar el té Matcha y un dulce tradicional japonés en una casa de té que alguna vez se usó para entretener a los invitados del señor del castillo.
Nuestra siguiente parada será Yume Kyobashi Castle Road, una popular calle comercial con vallas negras y paredes encaladas. Aquí tendrá tiempo para almorzar y hacer algunas compras. La región es famosa por el wagyu de primera calidad y muchas tiendas venden este manjar preparado en forma de croquetas, brochetas, ollas calientes y más. No dudes en pedirle recomendaciones a tu guía o dejar que tu olfato te guíe. ¡Pero no olvides dejar espacio para el postre más adelante durante el recorrido!
Nos dirigiremos al distrito de canales de Omi Hachiman, donde podrá navegar por los canales históricos mientras disfruta de las pintorescas vistas de la ciudad del castillo. Los amantes del cine pueden encontrar los lugares familiares, ya que este lugar se utiliza a menudo en películas y dramas históricos. Por supuesto, tu guía estará disponible para ayudarte a tomar fotografías que darán envidia a tus amigos y familiares. Tenga en cuenta que el recorrido en barco puede cancelarse debido al clima. Además, no podemos garantizar un asiento en el recorrido en barco para los huéspedes que reserven este recorrido con menos de una semana de anticipación. Desde aquí, regresaremos al autobús turístico y regresaremos a vuestro punto de encuentro para despedirnos allí.
Nuestra última parada será La Collina. Esta confitería es en parte reserva natural y en parte parque temático. Está rodeado de naturaleza y sirve una amplia variedad de dulces populares de temporada. Originalmente una panadería, los propietarios desarrollaron un profundo aprecio por los ingredientes naturales y así decidieron convertir su tienda en una reserva natural donde pudieran cultivar sus propios ingredientes y estar en sintonía con las estaciones. La tienda ha sido descrita como Ghibli en apariencia y es un gran lugar para los amantes de la fotografía. Por supuesto, los postres tampoco deben faltar.

Kim was an amazing tour guide for our day trip. She adapts to your needs and makes the experience feel personal and comfortable. She’s incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the area, and she’s also very kind and enjoyable to be around. Kim gets along wonderfully with children too, which made the trip even more relaxing and fun for our family. We had alot of fun exploring many awesome places with Kim really good guide shared with us alot of informations regarding places history and culture. Amazingly there were just the two of us for this trip, guided by knowledgeable and foresightful Kim. Although the boat trip was good, the gentle walk round the superb Castle Garden was the best.
