Su viaje comienza en la pintoresca Positano, una ciudad enclavada entre las colinas y el mar cristalino de la costa de Amalfi. Aquí puedes admirar la vista desde la montaña que lo rodea y pasear por las estrechas calles del centro histórico salpicadas de tiendas de moda y artesanía local. Prueba la cocina local, famosa por sus platos de pescado fresco y verduras mediterráneas. Luego, su recorrido lo llevará a la refinada Sorrento, la perla de la península de Sorrento. Visite el centro histórico y descubra sus tesoros escondidos, como la Catedral de Sorrento, las iglesias barrocas y el sugerente Claustro de San Francesco. No olvide probar el limoncello, un licor local hecho con limones locales. Finalmente, su recorrido lo llevará al descubrimiento de Pompeya, la antigua ciudad enterrada por el Vesubio en el año 79 d.C. Meta di Sorrento es una parada panorámica perfecta para admirar la belleza de la península de Sorrento. Desde sus 111 metros de altura sobre el nivel del mar, ofrece vistas espectaculares de Capri, Sorrento y la costa amalfitana, con panorámicas que van desde el mar turquesa hasta las verdes colinas circundantes. El mirador panorámico permite captar la esencia del paisaje costero de una sola mirada, incluyendo playas doradas, acantilados y colinas que descienden suavemente hacia el mar. Una breve pero imperdible parada para tomar fotos camino a Sorrento.
Las islas Li Galli forman un archipiélago muy pequeño entre Capri y Positano, uno de los lugares más evocadores no solo de Campania, sino de todo el Mediterráneo. El archipiélago está formado por tres islas, Gallo Lungo, La Rotonda y La Castelluccia, y juntas forman un espacio marino protegido muy sugestivo.
¡Positano es quizás un lugar único en el mundo! Es una joya de arquitectura espontánea, asentada sobre la roca que mira al mar. Grupos de casas coloridas, a veces con una apariencia cúbica, se construyen sobre escalones a menudo muy empinados, que descienden a la playa, conectados por callejones y largas escaleras.
Cuenta la leyenda que en su mar vivían las míticas Sirenas que tentaron a Ulises con un melodioso canto. Y aún hoy recorriendo ese mar - con reflejos azules y verdes, en mil tonalidades diferentes según el juego del sol - uno puede imaginar que las bellas y persuasivas Sirenas emergen de las olas. Pero quizás Sorrento es una sirena que cautiva y hechiza con los aromas de los limoneros y los naranjos, con olivos de oscuros troncos retorcidos y hojas plateadas que se mueven lentamente, con un leve sonido, en el viento que llega del mar, con rocas nacidas de la furia lejana de un volcán.
Pompeya es una ciudad de Campania, situada en el golfo de Nápoles y en las faldas del volcán Vesubio. Es una ciudad con orígenes muy antiguos: nació como un asentamiento osco, luego fue habitada por los samnitas y luego, a partir del siglo I aC, conquistada por los romanos. Ciudad sepultada por la erupción del Vesubio. Hoy es conocida como la ciudad donde se encuentra uno de los sitios arqueológicos más importantes del mundo. De hecho, la ciudad romana fue enterrada por la lava tras la erupción del Vesubio en el año 79 d.C. La lava y la ceniza han sido una especie de cubierta que ha permitido a la ciudad mantenerse a lo largo de los siglos y protegerse de las inclemencias del tiempo; por eso mismo la ciudad se ha mantenido intacta y hoy se puede visitar. Nota: El tiempo restante es para el viaje de ida y vuelta y el tiempo entre atracciones.

This was a lovely tour of Sorrento, Amalfi Coast and Pompeii. Paolo was our driver and was very professional and affable. He gave us time to allow us to explore the shops in Positano, but was also considerate that we needed to avoid spending too much time so that we did not miss out on seeing Pompeii. This was about an 8 hour excursion and we needed this time - Pompeii is an expansive site, it is important to give yourself time to see this adequately. An additional entrance fee to the archaeological site will need to be paid (about 20 Euros). We had the pleasure of been driven in a comfortable vehicle and a driver that is very knowledgeable of Naples. During the Pompeii tour we were given headphones to listen to an expert tour guide as we followed her through the labyrinth streets and corridors of this historical site. A splendid tour that has sparked our desire to revisit Naples, thanks to Paolo!
