Esta excursión en grupo reducido desde Lisboa comienza con una aventura en el Acueducto dos Pegões, una vertiginosa estructura a las afueras de la ciudad. A continuación visitaremos el Convento de Cristo, monumento de suntuosa arquitectura que domina la ciudad y que fue ocupado por los templarios. Después de comer, daremos un paseo por la ciudad de Tomar para apreciar su forma de vida tranquila y apacible, sus calles estrechas y ¡le explicaré su increíble historia ligada a los Tabuleiros diseminados por la ciudad! Este recorrido cultural fuera de los caminos trillados terminará con tiempo libre en el casco antiguo, sin olvidar una foto de recuerdo frente a TOMAR.

Itinerario
Vista exterior de este increíble acueducto cuya altura alcanza los 30 metros de altura. Para las personas que no le temen a las alturas, podemos aventurarnos por el acueducto hasta su mitad.
Admiraremos el Convento de Cristo, declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO, y la magnífica vista de Tomar desde las murallas. A continuación, visitaremos el interior del Convento (precio no incluido: 15 euros/persona) donde explicaré las diferentes etapas de la construcción de este monumento, incluyendo su suntuosa Charola y la ventana Manuéline.
Almuerzo en un restaurante local para degustar la cocina portuguesa.
Observación de los diferentes detalles y monumentos de la plaza (ayuntamiento, iglesia, estatua), luego visita del centro de la ciudad y paseo junto al río Nabao.
Tiempo libre para descubrir la vida local, tiendas, cafeterías a tu propio ritmo.

An essential detour; if you like history and architecture, it is a must-see. Trip done on foot, it is worth it if your health allows it, otherwise you can get there with the guide and their vehicle. An exceptional, friendly guide who masters their subject, is flexible, and adjusts to the needs of their travelers. Since you are in Tomar, the city is also a place worth visiting; our guide helped us discover a small café/pastry shop that is worth it. In short, an incredible experience and guide.

A wonderful day trip to Tomar to visit the Castle ruins and The Convent of Christ complex. It is a truly magnificent complex to walk around. It is also worth noting that a walk around the actual town of Tomar is highly recommended to understand more if the history of Tomar. João, our guide provided a great deal of information of Tomar and made the trip worthwhile.

Jean-Rémi was our tour guide and he was very accommodating and informative. We ended up with a private tour as it was only the two of us and he did a great job. We were able to see all the Knight Templar sites and made several interesting stops on the way. We will definitely be back to see the rest of Portugal.
