Su guía privado de habla inglesa lo recogerá en su hotel o puerto a su hora preferida por la mañana, y comenzará su recorrido privado descubriendo Sicilia. El guía le explicará cómo se creó el volcán Etna, la historia de las erupciones y la cultura. Conduciendo en coche cómodo privado a través de los pequeños pueblos de montaña auténticos, admirará inolvidables vistas pintorescas de la campiña siciliana llena de naranjos y plantaciones de limoneros, olivos y almendros, casas e iglesias antiguas construidas de piedra de lava. continuar ascendiendo al Etna llegando a la estación "Rifugio Sapienza" a 2000 mt. Aquí puede visitar famosos cráteres Silvestri, admirar impresionantes panoramas, visitar tiendas de recuerdos que ofrecen regalos de lava, refrescarse en algún bar o restaurante. Por razones logísticas, para los huéspedes que viajan desde el puerto de Messina, ofrecemos para una visita de los cráteres Sartorius ubicados en el lado norte del Monte Etna. - Incluidos en las tres horas se incluyen traslados al Etna y regreso
Luego su guía lo llevará a Taormina, uno de los complejos turísticos más exclusivos de Europa. Ubicada sobre una colina con vista al mar Jónico, Taormina ofrece impresionantes vistas de la costa y del Monte Etna, el volcán más activo de Europa. En Taormina, tendrá tiempo libre para relajarse y caminar por las encantadoras calles del centro de la ciudad, admirar la combinación de la antigua arquitectura griega, romana y normanda, y tendrá la oportunidad de comprar en las numerosas boutiques y tiendas de artesanía local.
El tour continuará en Savoca, un pueblo siciliano de obligada visita en la cima de la colina mundialmente conocido gracias a F.F. Coppola, que filmó aquí su legendaria película "El Padrino". El guía le contará sobre el proceso de filmación, compartirá trivialidades y revelará la historia real de la mafia siciliana. Caminarás por las auténticas calles de Savoca, que no han cambiado desde que se hizo la película. Visite las iglesias antiguas, el Bar Vitelli, donde Miguel habló con el padre de Apolonia, y la Iglesia de Santa Lucía, donde la pareja se casó. Siga el mismo camino colina abajo en la ciudad que los recién casados, y tal vez incluso conocer a algunos lugareños que fueron elegidos para la película, como la signora que interpretó a la madre de Apollonia! En el recorrido a pie se detendrá en una tradicional “trattoria”, donde degustará antipasti sicilianos orgánicos producidos localmente, un plato de la tradicional “Pasta alla Norma”, servido con vino local.

Marco was fantastic! He tailored the tour and we managed to do the cable car/jeep on Mt.Etna, visited a winery and had a great lunch there, and visited Taormina. He was informative, funny, thoughtful, and fully committed to make our day the best day possible. We highly recommend this company and Marco as the tour guide!

I cannot adequately describe how much we loved this tour. From the beginning our driver, Marco, made us feel welcomed. Mr Etna had erupted 2 days prior. He showed us video of the eruption and was able to get us up to see some of the craters while many busses were stuck and unable. Our lunch was simply one of the best. The view was amazing. Then he showed us Savoca. If you are a Godfather fan, this is a must. Definitely opt for the ride to the church. You can thank me later! Again, Marco was top notch!
We had an absolutely amazing day with our driver, Maurizio! Presetlli was great at working with us to customize exactly what we wanted for the day, which was Savoca with some Godfather stops (so cool) Taormina and a wine tasting+lunch at Murgo Winery in Etna. Seamless communication and confirmations and Maurizio was an excellent, knowledgeable and friendly guide who made our experience exceptional!
Excursions can have lots go wrong from weather to traffic to crowds and even accidents. I judge a tour by how they handle problems. We had an unfortunate communication problem over the meeting location. Nevertheless the tour operator immediately offered us a complete refund. When things go wrong and that will occasionally happen you can't ask for more than that. Thanks to Pasqualle.
Elena was excellent and engaging. She was knowledgeable and gave great at explaining all the history and kept us engaged. We were not rushed at any point in our trip and gave us plenty of time if needed to shop or get coffee during our full day private trip. Will recommend this company and guide to everyone. Day well spent!
We loved our tour of Sicily. Our guide was amazingly knowledgeable about Mt Etna and that was one of our favorite things to explore. I will say this is a packed day and was exhausting but if you have one day to see all the highlights this is the tour to take. Amazing!
We had a wonderful guide Maurizio! He was easy to communicate with before and during the tour. He was so kind and told us all about his island and the places we visited. He even gave us jackets while we were on the mountain at the volcano lava fields. There was a misunderstanding in the description of the tour, but the manager took care of us right away! Very apologetic and professional!! So appreciated. Note that you probably won’t have enough time to go to the Greek theater (long line to get tickets) so let them know if this is important to you. Highly recommend this company! Thank you for a lovely day!
We had such a blast with Roberto on this tour! He was so passionate and knowledgeable about his job around where he lives. The honey, olive oil, and liquor tasting was so fun and delicious! Then we visited the top of Etna where we got to learn about the history. And finished it all of with an amazing lunch and wine tasting with great views and a tour of the historic winery. Highly recommend and wish we could be back there now!
