Desde Colombo: Excursión de día completo a Kandy y Pinnawala

From the minute we were picked up from the hotel in an air-conditioned car, to being dropped off again in the evening, this was a fabulous trip. Our driver Janaka, took the time to point out sights of interest, such as fruit bats resting in the trees. There were stops for coffee and toilets en route. The trip to Pinnawala was marvelous, getting there in time to see the elephants walk down to the river to play. Janaka gave lots of advice and tips so we could see the elephants at their best. Onto the elephant poo shop to see how it had been recycled into paper products, then the spice garden and tea factory for a taste of Ceylon tea. Onto Kandy where we were dropped at the Temple of the Sacred Tooth for time to browse, before being collected ready for the journey home. Well worth it, to explore Sri Lanka away from the big city of Colombo. Janaka was an informative driver, willing to share lots of information about Sri Lanka and knew the routes well.

I don't think it's worth for taking this service. I would rather take a taxi driver with a car. The driver was not having good behavior and forcing for shopping. Stupid driver without sense.

Bad experience and believe that we didnt enjoy the trip. Its just a taxi driver who doesnt know the route.miserable and wasting your money.

Dont waste yout time an money. I felt not safe with the driver who always try to forcr me to go for shopping and misleading me. Horrible situation .

Wow what an experience. Once again Janaka gave us such a lovely day out. Visited a huge tea plantation which was very interesting and the tea was lovely. Saw Kandy and the temple, had lunch with a lovely view. The elephant centre was the best, just wow seeing these beautiful animals and been able to feed them, then watching them go for a bathe. Janaka certainly knows how to make your time special.

Janaka was friendly and professional throughout our trip and shared insights about the culture, history, and local spots we visited. His attentiveness to our needs and flexibility in adapting the itinerary made the journey even more enjoyable. Highly recommend! 😁

A long but very enjoyable day out with such a varied itinerary. From the time our guide Janaka picked us up to when he dropped us off he was very attentive and friendly. It was a very informative trip and nothing appeared to be too much trouble. Nothing felt rushed and we got to spent as much or as little time at each location as we felt comfortable with. The Temple of the sacred tooth relic was a highlight especially as there is a festival due soon and the anticipation could be felt everywhere which added to the occasion. Even the choice of where to enjoy a lunch was well thought out and the views were special. It was a most memorable day and made all the better because of the interaction with Janaka. Thank you

We had a fun filled day tour from Colombo to Kandy! Janaka was an exceptional guide, he was punctual, professional, a great driver and incredibly knowledgeable about Sri Lanka. His vehicle was clean and comfortable, and he made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. He was flexible with our schedule, adapting the day to suit our interests while offering great recommendations along the way. His cheerful, honest, lighthearted personality and constant smile created such a fun and relaxed atmosphere. The music was great, the vibe was easygoing, and we never felt rushed. We visited all the sites listed plus some others. When we return to Sri Lanka, Janaka will be our first call. He truly made the day memorable! Highly recommend!

This was a wonderful experience and a perfect way to see Kandy! Janaka was knowledgeable and very easy to talk to as we toured. We were comfortable in a lovely car with air conditioning, which was such a relief in the heat! Our travel time was lengthy as we were traveling from Columbo to Kandy just for the day. We had time restraints due to our cruise ship leaving later that day and Janaka worked with us to get in as many sites as possible. We would highly recommend him and this tour of Kandy.
