Su amigable guía privado le contará la historia de la creación de volcanes, sobre las erupciones, la cultura, los mitos y el folclore de "Mamma Etna" y la propia Sicilia. Conduciendo en coche privado a través de auténticos pueblos de montaña, llegará a "Rifugio Sapienza" a 2000mt. Aquí podrá visitar famosos cráteres Silvestri, admirar panoramas inolvidables, visitar tiendas con recuerdos de lava, refrescarse en algún restaurante o bar. Ascenso opcional con teleférico y jeep con el Guía Alpino autorizado a 3000mt. Luego visitará una de las mejores bodegas del Etna y almorzará de comida local fresca con finos vinos tintos y blancos de Sicilia. Recomendamos usar zapatos cómodos de punta cerrada y llevar capas adicionales, como algo cálido y un cortavientos.

Su guía personal lo recogerá en su alojamiento / puerto en Catania, y comenzará su maravilloso viaje privado al volcán activo más alto de Europa. Conduciendo en un cómodo coche con aire acondicionado a través de los pequeños pueblos de montaña auténticos, admirará inolvidables vistas pintorescas de la campiña siciliana llena de naranjos y plantaciones de limoneros, olivos y almendros, casas e iglesias construidas con piedra de lava. Disfrutando de increíbles vistas al mar y campos de lava, llegará a una encantadora ciudad de montaña Zafferana Etnea, donde visitará la tienda de miel local y probará los productos de la tierra fértil del volcán: miel, aceites de oliva, aceitunas, vinos y licores. Recomendamos usar zapatos cómodos de punta cerrada y llevar capas adicionales, como algo cálido y un cortavientos o chaqueta de lluvia, para estar preparado para las condiciones climáticas cambiantes.
Continuará ascendiendo el Etna hasta llegar a la estación "Rifugio Sapienza" a 2000 metros. Aquí podrá visitar los famosos cráteres Silvestri, admirar panoramas impresionantes, visitar tiendas de souvenirs que ofrecen regalos de lava y refrescarse en algún bar o restaurante. Ascenso opcional en teleférico/4X4 con guía alpino autorizado hasta 3000mt. Después de visitar el Monte Etna, el guía lo llevará cómodamente a una de las mejores bodegas en la ladera del Etna. En la bodega tendrás un recorrido por la finca, verás cómo crece la uva y visitarás las bodegas, mientras el experto sumiller te explica todo sobre el proceso de elaboración del vino y la historia de esta bodega familiar. Luego disfrutará de un delicioso almuerzo tradicional con quesos de producción local, salami, prosciutto, pan fresco, aceitunas y aceite de oliva casero y un plato típico de pasta. Un sumiller profesional le ofrecerá 4 copas de vinos tintos y blancos del Etna siciliano. Después del recorrido, tu guía te dejará en tu alojamiento o puerto en Catania.

We were on a field trip with Elena today, May 9, going to Etna volcano and the winery. We often travel and have visited many countries, we want to note that this tour will be among the top 5 excursions around the world! Really enjoyed everything, the stories and comfortable driving of Elena's car, the incredible beauty of Etna and the scenery during the whole journey! Learned a lot of interesting things and we're taking a lot of impressions out of Sicily! We also had an amazing lunch and wine tasting at the winery! Just gastronomic ecstasy, we're thrilled! We really enjoyed our trip to Mt Etna with our guide Omar. He was a delight to travel with and met our every need. We visited an apiary as well and tasted multiple honey flavors. The lunch at the winery was delicious and it was situated on a mountain ridge with wonderful views. A great experience not to be missed!
It was a great experience. Our driver Leo and guide Davide were great. We spent just the right amount of time on Etna (for us), went to a Lava Cave, a Honey Tasting and finally to a winery. The winery amd lunch were great. Would highly recommend!
We actually did two tours with Prestelli - this one and the six hour tour to 3 wineries. The tour guides were top notch - Alessandra for our Mt. Etna tour, and Elena for the winery tours. Both were extremely knowledgeable as well as wonderful to talk to. We highly enjoyed walking around Mt. Etna and were lucky to have a beautiful day with clear views. The company itself was extremely easy to deal with. Highly recommend using them!
One of the best experiences we have as a family. Our guide Marco was wonderful. Helpful knowledgeable and still let us have our time. The trip to mount Etna was fun and the winery trip was fab. The food was lovely different wines were perfectly introduced and explained. Would highly recommend this tour and especially ask for Marco as a guide. The special wine gifted to us as we celebrated a birthday was also a nice touch.
Private tour. Punctual service, picked up from the hotel, English speaking driver Roberto was great. Had a lovely tour of making honey by hand and tasting local oils and wine. Fabulous guide and tour on mount Etna . Then had a great lunch and tasted two wines in a small old winery. The surroundings were stunning and beautiful. Would recommend this tour and a lot cheaper than booking via Viator tours. Fabulous day to celebrate our Pearl wedding anniversary 🎉
Excellent day seeing Mt Etna and learning about the volcanic process. Antonio was an outstanding guide. Excellent English, positive and very knowledgeable. We enjoyed our time with him! The lunch was excellent. Very generous and we tasted one sparkling, two white and two red wines. A special day. Take this trip - you’ll learn a lot from Antonio and enjoy a lovely lunch!

We had a very great day! Manuele picked us up directly from our hotel. He was really informed about the Etna and the land around the volcano. We also stopped during they way as he showed us some details which you will definitely miss without a guide. The Etna itself was amazing! After we got some great facts about volcanos we had the opportunity for a break in the small restaurant up the mountain. We than received at the vineyard. So beautiful! The winemaker gives us a interessting visit and explained how to make wine. The food we got served was amazing and all the wine we got to try fit great. Definitely a tour to recommend!
