Visite Ayutthaya, la ciudad patrimonio de la UNESCO que ha sido la capital de los tailandeses durante más de 400 años. Este viaje lo llevará a los famosos templos construidos por los antiguos reyes de Ayutthaya. El recorrido es adecuado para fotógrafos y personas interesadas en la historia de Tailandia.

Visite cinco templos de primer nivel en este parque histórico declarado Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO.
Visite Wat Lokayasutharam para ver el Buda reclinado gigante con 37 metros de largo y 8 metros de alto. El Buda fue hecho de ladrillo y cemento en estilo de arte medio Ayutthaya.
Construido por el rey U-Thong (el primer rey de Ayutthaya) en 1357 dC, Wat Yai Chai Mang Khon fue el sitio de meditación para los monjes que regresaban de las peregrinaciones a Sri Lanka. El gran chedi fue construido en 1592 por el rey Naresuan El Grande para conmemorar su victoria sobre Birmania (ahora Myanmar) en el mismo año.
Famoso por la "cabeza Bhuddha en las raíces de los árboles", Wat Mahathat fue uno de los monasterios más importantes del Reino de Ayutthaya, no solo porque era el centro religioso y las reliquias consagradas del Buda, sino también porque era un monasterio real.
"El templo más sagrado de la antigua Ayutthaya". Wat Phra Sri Sanphet fue el templo más grande y bello de la capital y sirvió de modelo para Wat Phra Kaew (Templo del Buda de Esmeralda) en Bangkok.
Construido en 1569 por Bayinnaung, el gran de Hantawaddy (ahora parte de Myanmar) para conmemorar su victoria sobre Ayutthaya, Wat Phu Khao Thong es uno de los lugares favoritos de la ciudad antigua. Los visitantes pueden subir al chedi para ver la belleza de los arrozales circundantes y la ciudad de Ayutthaya.

Enjoyed our Trip to Ayutthaya Temples. Started with Driver pick up 6.30am from our hotel in an air conditioned comfortable small van total group of 8. With experienced Guide we were taken to 3 sites all significant & stunning on their own. Lunch was local fair & very delicious. I recommend this excellent day out.

We were picked up right on time at our hotel and had a pleasant drive in the van with our group to Ayutthaya. The day we were there, it was unpleasantly warm and humid, but I think it was still worth it. Wear sunscreen. Lunch was great. The ruins were interesting (and sad) and our guide did a good job of explaining the history. I am glad we went with a guide so we could understand better what we were looking at. The ruins are spread out and cover a huge area and multiple sites. I wasn't sure he would, but our guide and driver stopped us right off at our hotel at the end of the tour. It was the night before Songkran, and the water festivities were already on!

Please note that while this tour includes hotel pickup within inner Bangkok areas, the standard drop-off points are MRT Sam Yot or Khaosan Road. If your hotel is located nearby, the van may be able to drop you off directly at your hotel.

I recommend this activity for the following reason: Hotel pick-up highly recommended, and although there's an end drop point, drive and guide go above and beyond by dropping at near to your hotel as possible. Though, return is in Bangkok's intense traffic, I recommend dropping yourself at the nearest MRT or BTS station. Then, each stop is allowed more than enough time to explore with freedom. If you desire more information about what you see, let the guide know, and he will provide you the history. Enjoy

Guide was very detailed in his history of everything, driver was great also. The only problem was bad information about our pickup time..when we originally booked it, time For pickup was 7.00 am. Then the last 3 emails said it was 6.00am.?we tried to get it resolved, but nobody returned our request. So, we missed breakfast and sat outside at 5.55am,.nobody showed up until 6,50..
