Esta es una excelente opción de medio día si desea explorar Grecia más allá de Atenas. Posiblemente verá la puesta de sol más hermosa de su vida. Pase playas idílicas cuando salga de Atenas hacia algunas de las ruinas más hermosas de la antigua Grecia. El Centro Cultural de la Fundación Stavros Niarchos (SNFCC) es un complejo en la bahía de Faliro en Atenas que incluye nuevas instalaciones para la Biblioteca Nacional de Grecia (NLG) y la Ópera Nacional Griega (GNO), así como el Parque Stavros Niarchos. Our tour to Cape Sounion and the Temple of Poseidon was amazing! Our driver, Aris, picked us up right at our hotel in downtown Athens. He was so personable and knowledgeable about the area! Our ride was comfortable, and Aris told us about many different places along our route...not the typical "history" tour, but more about what life was/is like at various points, such as beaches, hotels/resorts, clubs, etc. He even made a short pit stop on our way there to show us a beautiful little lake area where people go to swim and hold events like weddings, and we got some lovely pictures! The drive along the coast was gorgeous, and when we arrived at the Temple grounds, Aris showed us a great spot on the hill to take some pictures before going inside! We went for the sunset, so Aris waited for us outside the grounds while we toured the site and watched the sun set behind the mountains in the distance. It was a stunning sight! It is definitely worth booking a time in the evening in order to experience the amazing view of the ruins at sunset!

My wife and I highly recommend this tour. We had a great tour by Andreas on May 3 to the Temple of Poseidon and Cape Sounion. It was the same day we disembarked from our cruise in the morning—a very nice half-day excursion. Andreas was on time and very personable. Along the way he continued to describe highlights of the scenery and history, and was quickly able to answer questions. The coastline was beautiful, and Greek history is inspiring. The sunset and photo ops were extraordinary as we hoped.

The experience itself is just transportation to the site, but the driver was very accommodating so we were able to make a couple of stops along the way.

Very nice activity. Good communication from viatour before departure, very nice driver who spoke French and who provided us with several explanations and showed us other points of interest before and after the visit of the site. I recommend the activity and the choice to visit the site in the morning from opening is also recommended. We had the site almost to ourselves.

Marina Apostolou from Greece Athens Taxi recommended this half day tour to us on Day 1 of our visit to Athens. We were picked up on time by the driver Spyros in a very nice, clean van. The road journey is very scenic and absolutely memorable. We had ample time at the Temple of Poseidon to hike through the hill and soaked into the breathtaking views of the sea on the 3 sides of the hill before sunset. The sunset from there was very beautiful indeed. While the Temple of Poseidon looks similar to the Acropolis, this place was not as crowded as the Acropolis in Athens (which is also undergoing renovation work). A very worthwhile tour. Spyros was a great company for us on this tour (and on the next day's half day tour of Athens as well). Both Marina and Spyros have been instrumental in leaving very good memories in our hearts of Greece and its people.

Loved our late afternoon tour of the Athens Riviera with Andreas! Although the weather was kinda rough (the wind…OMG!) It was a great start to the second leg of our Greece trip based in Vouigi. Beautiful views, well worth the drive, especially if you go during sunset. The sunset tour will get you home late and there is only snacks at the destination, so plan food accordingly! Our driver was wonderful!
