Acompáñenos en un viaje a través de capas de historia en el que descubrirá tanto el lado icónico como el oculto de la Ciudad Eterna. Partiremos de la inquietante Cripta de los Capuchinos, donde el arte y los huesos se unen en un inquietante homenaje. A continuación, nos aventuraremos bajo un moderno centro comercial para descubrir un tramo del antiguo acueducto Aqua Virgo (¡realizado en el año 19 a.C.!). y seguiremos sus aguas hasta la emblemática Fontana di Trevi. Más tarde, pasearemos por las callejuelas de Roma hasta llegar al Panteón, el templo pagano mejor conservado de la antigua Roma. Para concluir nuestro viaje pisaremos la Piazza Navona, pieza inolvidable de asombrosa belleza barroca. Este recorrido es más que una lista de comprobación, es una inmersión profunda en la gloria visible y el pasado invisible de Roma. Con un apasionado guía local, experimentará un equilibrio entre los lugares de visita obligada y los descubrimientos fuera de lo común, todo ello a poca distancia a pie. Este recorrido es ideal para viajeros aventureros que quieran ir más allá de la superficie de Roma.

Le acompañaremos en una visita a la cripta de los frailes capuchinos: cementerio de los frailes que, de acuerdo con su credo, se burlaban de los restos humanos de sus hermanos, fabricando candelabros y mobiliario con los huesos, dando testimonio de que lo importante no es el aspecto material de un individuo, sino el espiritual.
Le mostraremos el acueducto oculto que aún hoy lleva agua a la Fontana de Trevi: ¡el Acueducto de la Virgen, construido en el año 19 a.C.! Pero para encontrarlo, tendrá que adentrarse con nosotros en las entrañas de un centro comercial de lujo.
A continuación, visitará la fuente más famosa del mundo: la Fontana di Trevi. Aquí podrá hacerse una foto icónica y descubrir algunos de los extraños sucesos que tuvieron lugar en la Fontana de Trevi.
Podrá admirar desde el exterior uno de los monumentos más antiguos y mejor conservados de Roma: el Patheon. Cree que la cúpula es la original, construida en el año 27 a.C., y la puerta de bronce también es de época romana. Aquí, nuestro guía también le desvelará la historia de un lugar a menudo desconocido para los propios romanos, ¡que le sorprenderá con los acontecimientos que allí tuvieron lugar!
Por último, visitará la plaza más bella de la ciudad: la Piazza Navona. Los romanos siguen discutiendo si es mejor ésta o la Escalinata Española, pero aquí se puede admirar la legendaria "Fuente de los Cuatro Ríos", erigida por el famoso artista del siglo XVII Gian Lorenzo Bernini. Además, nuestro guía también le desvelará los significados ocultos de este monumento, también conocido por su papel en la película "Ángeles y demonios", y le permitirá descubrir lo que se esconde bajo la Piazza Navona desde los tiempos de los antiguos romanos.

Our “guide” unfortunately skipped 3 of the 5 locations on the itinerary: Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and Piazza Navona. She rushed through the Museum and Crypt of the Capuchins Friars to the point that we walked by/skipped multiple exhibits / displays and received limited to no information about them. Doing the recorded listening tour from the museum itself would have been much better. After the hurried pace and skipping over half the itinerary, she ended the tour almost an hour early. When we gently asked about seeing the Trevi Fountain she simply said “no, it’s back the other way” and apparently that was that. Lastly her English proficiency was sadly lacking to the point that she couldn’t understand/answer basic questions and it was incredibly hard to understand her. This was the most disappointing excursion of our trip and we would not recommend it with the “guide” we had. We’re sure with the right guide it would be highly enjoyable but unfortunately this was not.

Unfortunately, on the day of your tour, the guide originally scheduled to accompany your group was involved in a car accident and was therefore unable to conduct the tour. Rather than cancelling the experience at the last minute, we entrusted the tour to a licensed professional tour guide with whom we had never worked before. Regrettably, despite being fully qualified, she did not meet the standards of quality that we expect from the guides representing our organization. Even more unfortunately, she informed us after the tour that everything had gone well, so we were initially unaware of the issues you experienced. As soon as we received your complaint, we immediately decided to issue a full refund because we recognized that the service provided was not consistent with the quality we strive to offer. We believe this demonstrates our commitment to treating our guests fairly and taking responsibility whenever our standards are not met. For this reason, we feel that your review does not present the full picture, as it does not mention that we acknowledged the problem and refunded the tour in full without hesitation. Once again, we sincerely apologize for this exceptional situation. We hope you will understand that this was an unforeseen emergency, and we truly hope you will give us another opportunity in the future to show you the level of service that our guests normally enjoy.
Giuseppe was a great guide. The crypts were inside a museum and the aqueduct inside a shopping mall!! Not what I expected but still a great tour. Very unique experience and we saw a part of the party of the city we had not been in.

Arrived 45 minutes early at correct meeting point. After 55 minutes tried to contact operator by web chat and got no response. Rang Viator. After about 20 mins or so on the phone it was established that tour guide didn’t know it was booked. At least we got an immediate refund! Big shame as wasted a lot of time on our short trip to Rome.
Robert I beg your pardon, you are absolutely right. But the problem was that there was a misunderstanding between the management that collects the reservations and the assignment to the guide. When you tried to contact us, I was in hospital with my wife having an accident and I could not do more, at that moment, than make you an immediate refund. Sorry for the unnecessary waiting time. If you are in Rome, or when you return, it will be my pleasure to give you a tour to apologize for the inconvenience. Marco.
Riccardo was excellent - we got a personalized tour, he is very knowledgeable and passionate about his home city. He took time to explain a lot of things, and he was patient with my mom's walking pace, as we covered enough steps to make us lose a kilo or two!!! Just kidding about weight loss - but the tour was great... Highly recommended with caveat - bring your walking shoes!!!
