Despite requesting an English speaking driver none was provided on the day and the tour operator was not helpful at all. Requested a refund which was denied and the tour then proceeded with the driver perfunctorily taking us through the list with no engagement at all. The temples were closed as was the street market and i felt dumped on a street when i asked to stop for lunch with no options other than a wave to go inside the mall. Especially disappointed with viators response as well

As stated in the tour description, this package includes transportation and insurance but does not include a tour guide. Our driver mentioned that when he asked for the day's itinerary, the only destination provided was the mosque. After learning of the issue, our team called you to clarify the tour's inclusions. During the conversation, you reiterated your expectation that the driver should also serve as a tour guide. Under Thai law, our drivers are not permitted to act as tour guides, and providing commentary at stops is legally considered a guide's role. Our driver's responsibility is to provide safe transportation to the destinations you choose. We regret that this service did not align with your expectation of a guided tour. Being a private tour, we deviated from the published itinerary. We visited a snake farm, elephant sanctuary and did kayaking in Mirror Lake. Lunch was at the scenic Khao Tong Hill with a panoramic view of the bay. After lunch, we went to Krabi town for some shopping before returning to the hotel. It would be good if the driver could give us his contact number in advance or on the day of the tour so that we didn’t have to contact the tour operator to reach him after lunch to pick us up.
Nam was an excellent guide, very flexible but when needed told interesting stories. No rush, gave us time to explore places. Highly recommended.
