We had a great time learning about and tasting Japanese wine. Very unique activity. The person who led our tasting was engaging and knowledgeable and we had a chance to chat with the owner for a bit too. Wine was great, snacks were good and it was a fun activity for those that like wine.
Very nice experience. Good information about the wines, and fun to taste Japanese wine. Very good wines, which we have not found at any other restaurants:) recommended!
I had a wonderful experience at Three Grapes. The atmosphere was very chill, cozy, and relaxing, making it easy to unwind and enjoy the afternoon. What made the experience especially unique was the international crowd. Most of the guests that day were from Europe and North America, and it was great fun chatting with everyone in English in such a friendly environment. The Wine Salon was also incredibly interesting. I learned about Japanese sake and many fascinating facts about Japanese culture that I had never known before. It felt much more like a cultural exchange than just a wine event. I highly recommend Three Grapes to anyone visiting Tokyo and looking for a unique and memorable experience. If you’re interested in meeting people from around the world, learning about Japan, and spending a relaxing afternoon in a welcoming environment, this is definitely a place worth visiting.
It was a very well-presented insight into the world of Japanese wine, featuring very fine wines. Very nice guys, by the way. Thank you so much for a wonderful afternoon.
I was pleasantly surprised with this wine tasting. I wasn't expecting the wines to taste so good. It was well presented and our host very knowledgeable. I would reccomend this event if you are into wine from a quality point of view rather than just for the sake of drinking
Thank you Anzu and Ed for an incredible experience! It was a pleasure to learn more about Japanese wine production and history as we tried various types of wine.
We had a wonderful experience with the owner and her employee Ed. Really learned so much about the history of Japanese winemaking and had the opportunity to taste five different wines. The accompanying food pairings were very tasty as well. It’s a definite go-to!!!
Treat yourself and go to this place for an unexpected surprise of being introduced to Japanese wine. Lovely light wines that pair well with food. Hosts were lovely and knowledgeable.
Hosts are very friendly, and very knowledgeable. It was a very fun time. And the wines were very good. Bought 2 bottles to bring home. Highly recommend.
We thoroughly enjoyed this guided wine journey. It’s a very intimate setting that allows for a deep dive into Japanese terroir and boutique producers. Esther’s expertise was evident from the start; she explained the nuances of each pour with great detail and made the history of Japanese viticulture come alive. The wines themselves were excellent and offered a unique perspective on the local palate. It’s a professional, well-paced experience that we would encourage any wine lover to book while in Tokyo.
