Descubra otro lado de São Paulo con un recorrido por la favela de Paraisópolis y obtenga una visión única del espíritu vibrante de su gente, especialmente los verdaderos artistas ocultos que viven allí. Después de abordar en su dirección, nos dirigimos a Paraisópolis, una favela donde viven 100.000 personas. Deténgase en la sede de la Asociación Comunitaria y conozca la historia de su fundación y sus principales proyectos. Visitaremos el estudio de radio de la asociación y escucharemos un programa en vivo y charlaremos con los vecinos. Luego, llegue al taller mecánico de Berbéla y admire cómo construye sus obras a partir de piezas viejas de automóviles y motocicletas y restos de metal. ¡Una excelente manera de reciclar! Luego, visite la casa del escultor Estevão, también conocida como Gaudí de Paraisópolis. ¿Qué opinas de tu peculiar casa de piedra? Itinerario
El recorrido comienza en la sede de la asociación comunitaria de vecinos de Paraisópolis. Los visitantes conocerán la historia de la comunidad, la fundación de la Asociación y Comunidad y sus principales proyectos.
Luego, los visitantes serán llevados al estudio de radio comunitaria para ver un programa en vivo. (el itinerario puede ser diferente dependiendo de la fecha y hora del tour)
Visite Berbela y su taller mecánico, una gran artista y residente de la comunidad. Berbéla construye sus obras a partir de piezas de automoción, chatarra y residuos químicos, dando vida a todo tipo de material desechado en su taller. Hace obras de arte que pocos pueden cuestionar sobre su talento.
Visite la casa del escultor Estevão, también conocida como “Gaudi de Paraisópolis”. Una vez allí, los visitantes podrán ingresar a una hermosa casa de piedra, llena de accesorios y objetos comunes como tazas, platillos y platos, que forman parte de la estructura de la casa, y le dan al visitante un encanto y un sentido de fantasía. Aventúrate a través de aberturas y brechas para llegar al mirador y disfruta del paisaje deslumbrante y contrastante de la favela en el exclusivo barrio de Morumbi.
Los visitantes viajarán por los estrechos callejones de la comunidad hasta llegar al campo de fútbol Palmeirinha, y quién sabe, tal vez asistan a una clase de los estudiantes del proyecto "Rúgby Para Todos".
Seguimos viendo el callejón de Luciana y continuamos hasta la “Biblioteca BECEI”, que es la primera biblioteca creada en una comunidad.
Caminamos por las estrechas calles del centro de Paraisópolis hacia el Proyecto Balé Paraisópolis. Conoce a la directora y bailarina Mônica Tarragó, quien presentará el proyecto y hará que los visitantes miren un poco de la clase y conozcan a algunos alumnos.
Después de todo eso, el visitante puede querer degustar la deliciosa comida típica brasileña en el encantador “Bistrô Mãos de Maria”, en el techo de la sede de la asociación comunitaria Favela. (no incluido en el precio del tour)

Not only did he provide a lot of background information on the way there, but together with the G10 organization he was able to offer incredible insights into life in the Favela during those 5 hours— with meaningful encounters, great food, unique views, and authentic perspectives. I did a guided tour of Paraisópolis, the largest favela in São Paulo, and it was one of the most eye-opening experiences of my trip. My personal guide Adi was fantastic — fluent in English and deeply knowledgeable about the community. He helped translate from our local favela guide, Marcus, who spoke Portuguese, so I never felt out of the loop. The tour was informative, respectful, and gave a nuanced look at daily life in Paraisópolis — both the challenges and the incredible creativity that thrives there. I was amazed by the talent, art, and sense of community within the favela. At no point did I feel unsafe; instead, I felt welcomed and inspired. The highlight for me was visiting what locals call the “Gaudí of Brazil” house — a surreal, hand-built architectural wonder that felt like stepping into a dream. If you’re visiting São Paulo, don’t shy away from this experience. It’s powerful, human, and unforgettable — a side of Brazil that deserves to be seen and understood firsthand.

Never expected that we could get a chance to get to Favela. It was absolutely fun, interesting and unique experience. Our guide Carlos was professional and very knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour! This wonderful hotel in the centre of the old city of Avignon is highly recommended. Friendly helpful staff, clean and comfortable room and close to everything you need. Stayed 10 days in a Privilege Room with Terrace - just brilliant to come back to after a day of sightseeing. Lots of room and added bonus of being outside on a rooftop with views of the old city.
