Deje a los niños atrás para una velada espeluznante solo para adultos. Este recorrido será para mayores de 16 años y contendrá temas para adultos y un lenguaje que no es adecuado para niños. Some of our family members traveled from another state to visit Denver, and we booked this tour because we had very high expectations based on how it was presented. We were excited to experience one of Denver's top ghost tours together. Unfortunately, the experience was nothing like what was advertised or what we expected. The tour guide was extremely unprepared. He struggled to tell the stories, forgot important details multiple times, and didn't seem to know the material well. There was no enthusiasm, no energy, and no storytelling ability. Instead of an engaging ghost tour, it felt like we were listening to someone who had not prepared at all. It was honestly very frustrating and incredibly boring. The experience was so disappointing that our entire group decided to leave after the third stop. We simply couldn't justify continuing because it was obvious the tour was not going to improve. Rather than spending the rest of the evening on a tour that was not delivering what had been promised, we chose to leave. We paid $209.94 for six people, expecting a quality experience, but what we received fell far below any reasonable standard. To be completely honest, the entire experience felt more like a scam than a professionally operated tour.
Loved Michael!! It was so informative and the guide really adapted to the group.
Normally, I would have stayed with the full tour, but it was so poor, so painful, and so ill informed, that our guests from out of town and ourselves could not bear to continue after the second stop. Excerpts: -During the guide’s into to the group, he stated tonight was his last tour, he was not paid well… -“...If you have seen DIA, Union Station looks basically the same” -The “architect person got the math wrong on the date on the front of Union Station” -Guide stated there is a “pervert” ghost in the Brown Palace basement…. “Who knows, maybe one of you (meaning paid tour attendees) is a pervert also…..for example, I think you (pointed a guest out) could be a pervert……” -His jokes were highly off putting and uncomfortable. -His description of the ghosts were actually less informative than a quick chat gpt search of said topic. -He described how he hated downtown Denver and was sorry for anyone who was from there. -He relayed to us all of the policies of the tour company (if someone joins the group mid tour his pay would be docked unless he checked them in -Guide stated he was super anxious because he had never led a tour as large as this one and wasn’t sure how it would go -On the second stop he thought guests he had already checked in were new and had a super awkward a change with them while we waited and cringed -He allowed 4 people to join late after he did his talk for the first stop and then repeated his spiel for them while we waited Do I need to continue with the examples? I have booked many tours via Viator and have always been pleased with the quality. This was such a bad experience, that I actually looked around for hidden camera because I thought we might be inadvertently in a “Punked” show. I request a full refund.
The tour guide was very nice. The tour itself was not what I expected because I thought we were going to enter some buildings and not just walk by them. It was quite boring and not worth the price. Would not recommend it to others.
Samantha was a delightful guide. It was nice to walk around Denver after dark with a group as we would not have been brave enough as two ladies on our own to walk around in the dark. It was a very nice evening and Samantha is enchanting with many amusing tales.
Thank you so much for the lovely review! We’re thrilled to hear that you enjoyed exploring Denver after dark with Samantha as your guide. She has a wonderful way of making the evening feel both fun and welcoming, and we’re so glad her stories helped create such a memorable experience. We’ll be sure to pass along your kind words to her!
I've done many of these types of tours and this was by far the worst. This was suppose to be an hour and a half. It ended up being only an hour. The tour guide did not recall a lot of facts. Could not remember things. Would say things like she forgets what this was or certain names. Each spot was to be 15 minutes. It was only 5 minutes at most. Long walk between spots with no interaction. Was not perfesional. Cursed when telling a story. Speed through the story. Talked about the architecture of the building more then ghost stories. I would not recommend this at all. I had a group of 5 and was a waist of my money.
We’re sorry to hear that your group was disappointed with the tour. Our tours are designed to provide a full experience with a strong mix of haunted history, ghost stories, and local context, and we regret that this did not come through during your visit. We appreciate the detailed feedback regarding the pacing, length of the tour, guide delivery, and professionalism. We take comments like this seriously and will review the experience internally to determine where additional coaching or retraining may be needed. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Michael was delightful. He knew so much about Denver and the ghost stories attached. I loved hearing him narrate Denver history. I went on a Tuesday after Halloween, and only one person signed up. I actually enjoyed only walking with two other people.
My ghost tour with Michael was awesome! He was very knowledgeable and personable. He shared a lot of great information that I had never known before! It was a lot of fun and an amazing tour.
Good walking tour, lots of history on Denver and the people that became the ghosts. It was worth it. Logan was fun and exciting.
Michael was a fantastic tour guide who was knowledgeable, friendly, and funny! Appreciated learning all the history about the city!
