Itinerario

This is one of the best food tours we have ever done! Ronnie is the best guide and gave amazing recommendations! The food was delicious and Puebla is just so beautiful. A must do in Puebla!
If you come to Puebla this is a must. You’ll see a side of the city (literally) you might not visit otherwise. You’ll also have the best food curated by a guy who really knows where and how the locals eat. Our first stop, for tamales, blew us away, and we couldn’t imagine how it could get any better, but one excellent dish followed another. There’s no way we would’ve ever found these places on our own. But now we know where to eat and drink for the rest of our time here. Plus we learned a lot about culture and history and architecture. Thanks, Ronnie!
So glad we decided to start our trip to Puebla with a food tour and so thankful we got Ronnie as our guide! He was friendly and warm from the start and full of local knowledge. He not only introduced us to the delicious food of the area but also explained the rich history of the city - two tours in one! We used his suggestions and insight throughout the trip which made the whole experience so much easier and enjoyable.
We thoroughly enjoyed the Culinary tour led by the very knowledgeable Don Lionel, who was a historian as well as a culinary guide! We ate delicious foods, and saw many sights as well. We were treated to fascinating conversation about culture and history.
My teenage daughter and I went on this food tour with Ronnie as our guide. Ronnie was friendly and very informative. I’ve been in Puebla many times before, but the tour took me places and taught me things that were new. All of the food we tried was delicious. Most of the items were new to my daughter, and she liked everything (the canasta tacos were her favorite). We learned about the people and history of Puebla in conjunction with the cuisine we sampled. Ronnie did a fine job of accommodating my vegetarianism and of providing thoughtful comments, not canned lines. We’ve been on numerous food tours in various locations. Each has been quite different, yet good. Unique attributes of this tour include visiting a number of women-led businesses, visiting and eating at a market, and the richness of context provided surrounding what we tried. Finally, we were offered a great deal of food (you won’t leave hungry) and we did a lot of walking that helped us maintain an appetite for the next thing. Highly recommended!
Ronnie was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed learning about the history and food culture of Puebla. We explored many unique spots along the way; we even got to make our own tortilla! Ronnie went out of his way to make the tour safe and enjoyable for everyone. This tour was definitely worth it.
This was an excellent food tour experience. Ronnie (Ronald) was fantastic and really made the tour wonderful and memorable. Would highly recommend.

Ronnie was incredible! So kind, friendly, sassy and genuine!!! We loved spending time with him and seeing the city through his eyes! It felt like such a personalised tour! He took us to his favourite places told us about the food his grandma would eat with him! Even went above and beyond to show us areas that had nothing to do with food!!! Definitely experience Puebla with Ronnie! You will love it more than you already do!
We enjoyed outer tour and seeing a lot of the city by foot. It is a lot of food!! Maybe a bit less food stops and a few more cultural stops would be good. Wendy was a good guide and very helpful and flexible.
Dear Kimberly: Thanks for taking your time to write this review. We will take your comment into account to reinforce with the guide that the tour can be flexible if the client requests to visit an additional place or obtain more cultural information. Your feedback helps us improve. Thank you.
