Descripción
Comenzamos en una tienda local sinónimo de donas de calidad: Do-Rite Donuts. Desde allí caminaremos por el corredor Randolph y aprenderemos sobre la historia del West Loop de Chicago, un vecindario histórico que ha pasado por una serie de revitalizaciones desde sus días como columna vertebral industrial de la Ciudad de Big Shoulders. Probaremos las extravagantes creaciones con infusión de matcha de una joya escondida: el café Matcha-Cita, ¡donde definitivamente tendrás que hacer una pausa para tomar una foto! Disfrutaremos de los estilos de donas exagerados de una tienda recién llegada que intenta irrumpir en escena, Voodoo Donuts, un trasplante de Portland que presenta sabores indulgentes y aderezos inesperados. Finalmente, pasearemos por un mágico callejón antiguo de ladrillos repleto de hermoso arte callejero floral, antes de salir a Sawada Coffee, propiedad del artista del café con leche de renombre mundial, Hiroshi Sawada. A lo largo de nuestro viaje, brindaremos anécdotas e historia de cada uno de los lugares, el vecindario circundante y la historia de Chicago en general.

En Do-Rite Donuts, probaremos algunos de sus increíbles sabores rotativos. Si te sientes tan inclinado, también tienen un increíble sándwich de pollo frito que puedes probar después de la gira. ¡Es fenomenal!
A lo largo del recorrido, exploraremos West Loop y Restaurant Row. No es mucho caminar, pero es suficiente para ayudar a alejarse de algunas de las donas que comerá.

Our guide Emily was great! She was very energetic and seemed to really enjoy sharing with us as much as possible regarding the stops we made on the tour. We definitely had plenty of donuts to try during the tour.

Amazing tour by Jackson! We learned about the the crime underworld of Chicago while visiting four donut shops. Very full on donuts by the end!
