Delft es la ciudad que dio Delft Blue al mundo. En este tour privado, explorarás ambos lados de esa historia. Entradas, audio tours y traslado desde y hacia Royal Delft están incluidos. Su recorrido a pie comienza en la Plaza del Mercado y le lleva a través del casco antiguo de Delft : pasando por la Iglesia Nueva y la Iglesia Vieja inclinada, a lo largo de los canales, y a través de las historias de Vermeer, Guillermo de Orange, y Antonio van Leeuwenhoek. Su guía comparte las historias escondidas detrás de las fachadas de la ciudad, a su ritmo. Luego visitará Royal Delft, el único fabricante de Delft Blue que aún funciona desde el siglo XVII. En el museo y la fábrica, se ve cómo los artesanos producen y pintan a mano Delftware utilizando técnicas auténticas transmitidas durante siglos. El antiguo ayuntamiento de Delft es uno de los edificios históricos más importantes de la ciudad. Pasaremos junto a él al salir de la plaza Grote Markt de camino a la Iglesia Vieja. ¿Qué tiene de interesante el ayuntamiento? ¡Te diré!
Ahora estamos en el antiguo barrio cervecero de Delft. ¿Adónde se fueron los cerveceros? También veremos la Iglesia Vieja, quizás el edificio más reconocible de la ciudad. ¿Qué edad tiene exactamente y por qué está tan sesgada? Quién sabe.
Este lugar ha jugado un papel decisivo en la historia de Holanda. ¡El Padre de la Patria ha sido asesinado aquí! Averigüemos más al respecto.
En nuestro camino por el canal Oude Delft, pasaremos por una fachada muy decorada, la del Gemeenlandshuis. ¿Qué es este edificio y por qué fue tan importante?
Te dirigirás al sur de la ciudad. Pasaremos junto a una gran antigua Armería de Armas de la V.O.C. Descubramos más sobre el papel de Delft en los días dorados de la República Holandesa. También por aquí, podemos echar un vistazo al lugar exacto donde Vermeer estaba de pie cuando hizo su pintura 'Vista de Delft'.
Nos dirigiremos a Beestenmarkt. Esta es una plaza pintoresca, a menudo llena de gente. Solían organizar mercados de animales aquí. En nuestro camino, pasaremos por algunos antiguos fabricantes de cerámica Delft Blue, una antigua sinagoga y el hospital más antiguo de los Países Bajos.
Después, será trasladado al Museo/Fábrica Royal Delft.

This was a wonderful historic venture of the city of Delft and the Delft factory. Eliza was a wonderful tour guide and explained the history beautifully. I would suggest to wear comfortable shoes and bring rain jackets if the weather is threatening.

On a girlfriend’s trip to see the tulips, we took a day trip to from Amsterdam to have a tour of Delft. What a great day! Was easy to meet our tour guide, Mia, at Markt Square by walking from the train station. Mia, a student at U. Of Delft, was a wonderful tour guide, very knowledgeable, informative and her love of Delft was infectious!! Showed us all the main sites, gave great recommendations on shops and eating places. So lovely. We were surprised when she told us at the end that we were among her first tours!! She’s a gem in a beautiful city!

Your guide never showed. We waited 30 minutes Tried calling tour operator who didn’t pick up. Eventually got through to Viator. We were issued a refund. Tour operator eventually picked up. Guide apparently went to wrong loca

What a lovely city and museum. We enjoyed every bit of this tour and our guide was very helpful and friendly. Lunch at the museum was also very tasty.
