Sam was amazing. The session was informative and in depth. Not very hard to find. Sam is very knowledgeable and welcoming.
Wonderful time! Sam was super knowledgeable and friendly. Was a blast tasting all the different sojus and seeing the process. He also gave lots of great recommendations for things in the area. 100% would recommend.
Sam gave a hugely entertaining and informative presentation on the process of making soju and the history of the Three Pigs Distillery. We loved all of the sojus we tried. I recommend this experience for anyone interested in soju or spirits in general. Thanks to Sam also for the great restaurant recommendations!
Sam was a great person and was friendly as well as knowledgeable and all of us thoroughly enjoyed the evening, it was a fun group of people who attended! Sam not only held a great tour but we had a great broader conversation on life and travel and other things, Needless to say it was a very lovely evening, he then recommended our group a great spot for local food for dinner nearby, which we all really needed after the amount of amazing Soju we had.
A fun and interesting foray into the world of soju. Sam did a great job of balancing the info with the drinking, so it didn't just feel like a museum visit, or a trip to a bar. The soju is strong but tasty and it was cool to learn about the process.
Very informative tasting where you get to see the actual process of making Soju at the three pigs distillery. Sam was a great teacher and he definitely knew a lot about Soju. At the end you get to taste seven different Sojus and even taste the soju before it's fermented.
I had a great time..Sam was the perfect host. The distillery tour was very interesting and the tasting part was a highlight. It was informal and fun, it was like we were all just hanging out. I would recommend this to anyone curious about soju.
We did it in June 2025 when visiting Seoul. We had the best time and the soju was amazing! Highly recommended 😊
The soju tasting was a great experience thanks to Sam! Our family felt Sam's English was very easy to understand. It was clear he was very knowledgeable on the history of soju and is heavily involved in the brewing process at this location. We appreciated the wide variety of tastes varying in alcohol strength. Another positive is that you're able to buy bottles of soju to take with at the end if you'd like, but there wasn't any sales pressure. Highly recommend Sam and this soju tasting while visiting Seoul!
Sam was incredibly knowledgeable about soju and also gave us great information and recommendations for our stay in Seoul. Would definitely recommend especially early on in a trip.
