Sigue los pasos de Mattie, Naomi, Sebastian y Mervin en este tour de la Muerte en el Paraíso en Guadalupe, saliendo desde la terminal de cruceros en Pointe-à-Pitre. Beban donde bebieron, caminen donde caminaron y coman donde comieron. Te guiará alguien que fue extra en las temporadas 14 y 15 de la serie. Tendrás la oportunidad de almorzar en Catherine’s Bar o simplemente disfrutar de una hora de tiempo libre en el pueblo de Honoré.

Terminal de cruceros Pointe-à-Pitre: Nuestro conductor y guía te estarán esperando desde las 8:30 am cerca de la oficina de turismo y tiendas (Terminal 1) de la terminal de cruceros con un cartel mencionando tu nombre. Más adelante se proporcionará más información.
Su guía le llevará en un viaje panorámico a lo largo de la costa. Conducirá por la magnífica playa donde se instala la casa del Inspector, también conocida como “choza”, cada año durante el período de rodaje. Su guía describirá las escenas filmadas en este sitio y el difícil entorno de rodaje para los actores. Atención: la casa del Inspector solo es visible de mayo a agosto.
Su guía lo llevará al jardín botánico en el pueblo de Deshaies, también conocido como Village Honoré. Durante esta visita gratuita de una hora, podrá admirar una magnífica colección de nenúfares, un estanque lleno de carpas koi, descubrir el pueblo de los loros y lorikeets, y la majestuosa palma de Talipot, única en Guadalupe! ¡También tendrás la oportunidad de alimentar a los animales presentes! Una villa privada en el jardín fue el escenario de la escena en la que el primer detective de la serie, Richard Poole, fue encontrado asesinado (la villa no está abierta a los visitantes).
Continuará su excursión con una visita a Port Honoré, donde se filmaron todas las escenas vinculadas a la salida o llegada de un barco, o referidas a un puerto. Descubrirás una vista sublime de la bahía del pueblo, su iglesia y un vistazo lejano del bar de Catherine. Es un lugar sublime para fotos de recuerdo. ¡No olvides tu cámara o smartphone!
Su guía le llevará en un recorrido a pie por el centro histórico del pueblo de Honoré, donde descubrirá varios lugares de rodaje: la iglesia, el primer bar de Catalina, etc. Aprenderá sobre las limitaciones del rodaje y lo que sucede detrás de escena.
Su guía lo llevará a la estación de policía de Honoré para una parada de fotos. Este es el único lugar de rodaje permanente dedicado exclusivamente a esta serie de crímenes. Su guía le explicará la historia del sitio y el papel que desempeña en la serie. Si está abierto el día de su visita, puede tomarse un tiempo para explorarlo. Las visitas suelen estar permitidas de diciembre a abril. Usted pagará en el sitio por el boleto (15 € o 20 €).
Después de esta parada en el Catherine’s Bar, tendrá 2 opciones : 1. Almuerzo en Catherine’s Bar : Para garantizar que tenga la experiencia más agradable posible, el menú se le enviará por correo electrónico para que pueda ordenar con anticipación y ahorrar tiempo en el día. Luego reservaremos una mesa para el grupo. Esta opción no está disponible los miércoles y festivos (Navidad, Año Nuevo, Semana Santa, etc.). El almuerzo no está incluido en el precio. 2. Tiempo libre para explorar Honoré Village a su antojo : Durante alrededor de 60 minutos, simplemente puede tomar una copa en el bar (el Catherine’s Bar cierra los miércoles), relajarse en la pequeña playa junto al bar, o ir a dar un breve paseo. Si desea tomar una copa en Catherine’s Bar, tenga en cuenta que no podemos garantizarle una mesa, ya que las reservas solo están disponibles para el almuerzo. Simplemente tendrás que encontrar un asiento cuando llegues.
Después del almuerzo o de su tiempo libre, su guía lo llevará en un paseo panorámico a lo largo de la costa, y su conductor se detendrá para que pueda admirar las impresionantes vistas. En la siguiente parada, también disfrutarás de una impresionante vista de un complejo hotelero, un lugar de rodaje recurrente para la serie y el lugar donde se alojan los equipos de filmación.
Después de esta parada, será el momento de abordar su minibús para el viaje de regreso a la terminal de cruceros en Pointe-à-Pitre. Dependiendo de la hora de salida de su crucero, el viaje de regreso tendrá lugar alrededor de las 14.30 o 15.00 horas.

Olivier was an amazing guide and was very informative throughout the tour. He mentioned that he had been an extra on the set in previous episodes.
Fabulous experience! Olivier was a great guise, very knowledgeable and having been an extra on the show, full of interesting anecdotes and fun facts. We were there during the filming period which meant some things were limited, such as the police station being close, but Olivier still managed to ensure we saw as much as possible, including some extra bits!! The botanical gardens were a highlight for us. All in all a great day out for DIP fans!!!
It was incredibly fun. There is a world of difference between visiting the filming locations with someone who is knowledgeable and has been involved versus just going through the points without context. The mere fact that Oliver showed a photo of how each location we visited looks in the series was very helpful. We then recommended the tour on-site when we met other tourists interested in the filming locations of the series.
My parents and I had the pleasure of experiencing the DIP tour with Olivier. Olivier provided an unforgettable experience from start to finish. He provided so much insight into the show and was patient with all of our questions and comments. He even had pictures to show specific scenes that were filmed in the areas he was showing us. It’s clear that he loves what he does and we highly recommend this tour!
This was an amazing tour! We were well taken care of by our Guide Olivier. He took us to all the important places of the TV show and had lots of interesting behind-the-scenes information tidbits, since he was an extra on the show. The ride was comfortable, and the tour was small, with only two other couples in the vehicle. Pickup was prompt and we were returned on time to the cruise ship. Lunch at Catherine's bar was delicious and we got some free time afterwards to walk around the area. Very geeky experience, a must do for fans of Death In Paradise!

It was a perfect day with Oliver. All the great spots from Death in Paradise were just totally great, We were lucky that Cathrines Bar was open. So we could finally have a beer there. The highlight was the police station. We were allowed to see everything inside and were fortunately almost all alone in it. The botanical garden was a dream. And we had lunch on the beach. We can recommend the tour 100%.
Olivier was brilliant throughout and did all he could to ensure that the small tour group enjoyed themselves and got the best out of this must do adventure. We are fans of the show and we specifically sought out this tour after reading excellent reviews of what we saw as a highlight of our cruise. We had a brilliant time and can totally endorse and recommend this excursion. Thank you Olivier.
It was a great day. Olivier gave thought to the timing of each of our visits so we could get the most from each experience and miss the cruise crowds. There is some walking around the Botanical Gardens and also through the town to the police station and Catherine’s Bar We thoroughly enjoyed the walks. Olivier was a very enthusiastic guide on Death in Paradise. Whenever we stopped, he showed us scenes from the show to prompt our memories of where we were & what we were looking at. Olivier himself had been in the show as an extra and it was fun to hear his experience. The meal pre booked at Catherine’s Bar by Olivier was great. We sat comfortably and enjoyed our pre-booked meal when it was super busy and people were trying to sit at the tables. Olivier was more than happy to take photos at all the different stops which were fantastic photos. The Botanical Gardens were beautiful. The feeding of the fish was an experience - the fish go WILD as you throw the food in. The feeding of the parachets was an experience too. We didn’t feed the goats, we gave our feed to a family with multiple children. The actual gardens were so pretty. All the trees, flowers and water features like the waterfall, fountain & stream were so restful to listen to and so beautiful. This was a highly memorable day & we would definitely recommend to do it with Olivier and his company.
We were picked up from and returned to the cruise port. The tour was meticulously planned and organised. Olivier was very knowledgable, not only about Death in Paradise but also about Guadeloupe and its people. The locations we visited were well chosen and representative of the most famous spots of the show. A must for fans of the tv series, but also very enjoyable for any visitor to the island.
