De Yogyakarta : Bromo e Ijen 3D2N Con Bali Drop-off

The Bromo and Ijen trip was a highlight of our vacation! The logistics were well taken care of and our guide Jarot was very attentive and ensured an excellent experience.

Fantastic experience. Everything perfect, hotel pickup very punctual and super driver! All excursions organized in detail, nothing left to chance, even the local guides were perfect. With simple and effective English. They even accompanied us right onto the ferry to Bali. There were a thousand thoughtful gestures for us. I highly recommend this agency. And I recommend asking to be assigned the driver Ekko because he is simply perfect.

Very good experience, very kind driver (Jarot), always aware of our needs, and both Bromo and Ijen very nice to visit. You have to wake up early but it’s definitely worth it. Get you some jacket because it is cold up there!

We have just completed a 3-day Bromo and Ijen tour with our guide, Ekko. He was an excellent guide and driver throughout the trip. Everything was exactly as described in the tour package. Our Java experience started with a day at Jomblang Cave and Pindul Cave with Irhas, and it was so good that we decided to book a last-minute 3-day tour to Mount Bromo and Kawah Ijen, with a detour through Jodipan. Irhas joined again as our guide and driver, alongside Juan, and we couldn't have asked for better company. From the very first day, both of them looked after us and our belongings with remarkable care and attention. They answered every single one of our questions, from the most random to the most political, helping us better understand Indonesia's history, culture and language. We even picked up some Bahasa Indonesian along the way! These 3 days were truly unforgettable. Irhas and Juan didn't just show us Java, they made us feel welcome in their country. Their kindness, patience and genuine warmth left a lasting impression on all six of us. And of course, the volcanoes were breathtaking, and the Jodipan detour was absolutely worth it. We cannot recommend a tour with them highly enough. Whoever gets to travel with Irhas and Juan will be just as lucky as we were. Thank you both. We will remember you.

The tour is very nicely curated with great guides at every spot. The sunrise in Bromo was spectacular and Ijen nothing sort of amazing! The accommodations selected are very convenient to support the rest of the logistics. This pack is very convenient as it takes you to the different places, getting you closer to Bali - if that’s your next destination - and sorting you out through a one-stop shop. Special kudos to Ekko, my master guide who was very patient, helpful , accommodating and great fun to travel with.

I recently completed the 3-day Bromo and Ijen overland journey (Yogyakarta start, Bali drop-off) with Journeast Indonesia as a solo traveler, and I can confidently say the tour was worth every penny. The company provided a genuinely private experience, which was a huge plus—I had the vehicle to myself and was not join other groups, a rare find for a solo booking for a private tour. I also had considerable leeway regarding the schedule. Critically, they upheld all their commitments, and their rate for individuals traveling alone was surprisingly competitive compared to similar operators. This was an outstanding private tour!
