Escondida en un bosque místico, esta maravilla menos conocida es un tesoro del distrito de Thrissur. Con presa, mariposario, parque infantil y puente colgante.
Las cascadas de Athirappilly, ubicadas a 63 km del distrito de Thrissur, son las cascadas más grandes y famosas de Kerala, con más de 80 pies de altura.
Se trata de una caída "plana" a diferencia de Athirapally. El agua fluye aquí sobre las rocas y luego desciende hacia Athira. Tienen un sendero y algunos miradores.

Bad experience due to misconception between adverticed details by Viator of tour and subcontractors details. In spite of admission to all activities should have been included - according to Viator - I had to pay all admissions for my daughter, myself and the driver/guide AND parking at the hanging bridge - according to tour supplyer! So INS 530 + 530 + parking on top of the toyr price! Not acceptable!
Nice walk but a bit long ride, but the falls are a big hit. We stopped to return to the Kerala Folklore Museum. A marvel.
Driver Afsal was very polite and took us to places on time. No complaints the travel was safe and smooth with him. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK.
