Great experience. You’ll see the real Egypt in the countryside outside of Cairo. Three interesting and distinct pyramids. At each of them, I was the only visitor. Such a different experience from the crowds at Giza. You can go inside all three pyramids as well as a masts a tomb at Meidum, where you need to get on your hands and knees to crawl through a tunnel. The closest you’ll come to Indiana Jones in real life. Asma was a great local guide. Mohamed the driver was prompt in pickup and did a great job of handling the curveballs of a nontraditional tour. This tour was one of the highlights of my visit to Egypt.
Menna was an amazing guide! She explained the history of Egypt in a very simple and engaging way, making it easy to understand and enjoy. She was especially interactive with my daughter, involving her throughout the tour and making the experience even more memorable. She also took the most beautiful photos of us at the pyramids and knew all the best spots for pictures. Menna was kind, patient, professional, and full of positive energy. We highly recommend her to anyone visiting the pyramids. Thanks to Menna, our tour was truly special and unforgettable! 😊🇪🇬✨
Beyond the tour being poorly organized, the description on Viator is misleading. Despite the overview of the tour claiming that everything is included in the price, in reality nothing other than the pickup is included in the price. You will still have to pay for each pyramid and in my experience, no lunch was provided. And despite this misleading nature, Viator will not doing anything about this. I guess it must be okay to mislead customers on the platform. Oh, and if you want a tour guide that will actually provide any information or even talk to you, this is not the tour for you. At each pyramid, we were told to wander around without any true introduction to the site or him even accompanying us. Our tour guide spent more time talking to the employees at the pyramids than to us. Truly it was a disappointing experience. So, if you want to see the Fayoum pyramids, please find another way to do so. Otherwise, you will leave feeling disappointed and like you have been scammed.
Hassan Karem was the perfect guide for the trip. He knew the sites very well, gave the perfect detailed explanations and more! We had a good driver Magdy Fouad. They listened to all my special requests for bathroom and food stops. I'm glad that Emo Tours was able to arrange the tour on a short notice. The tour was also fairly priced compared to the other offers.
A very interesting off-beaten tour for people who want to learn more about ancient Egypt besides Giza pyramids. The guide Salem is highly professional and very attentive to tourists.
Hamad and his drivers made this desert trip an unforgettable experience. After crossing the vast oasis of Al Fayoum and a short stop at camp, you will enter the desert and visit the amazing Wadi Al Hitan with its whale skeletons in situ. You will enjoy marvelous views over lakes and even a waterfall. I must also mention the great Egyptian food at the camp. I strongly recommend this day trip.
Amazing trip with a very kind, helpful guide, to some amazing pyramids few venture to go to. You want to go to 3 pyramids, go inside, and have them to yourself? This is the tour to go on.
Good to see outside Cairo and the mud pyramids. Very remote and the road challenging for a car at times. The driver kept getting lost so a lot of time was wasted stopping and asking for directions. This is as they don't often do this tour. We did book last minute so not a major problem. Interesting but only one pyramid open and whilst we enjoyed it not value for money compared to the Giza and Memphis tour that we did. Over priced considering entry only 150EGP X 3 and not that much to see. lunch a buffet which was very nice.
Ali the Guide and Youssef the driver were great and accommodating and very funny guys. The Maydum Pyramid is quite the sight to see. Otherwise theres not much more to it. Chickem lunch was a abundant and delicious. Tea was nice. This is a rare tour, but kinda worth it to see another side of Egypt that most don't get to see.
Definitely loved the long, informative narrations throughout the trip. Anyone who loves Egyptian history will appreciate it. The guide allowed me to explore the pyramids both inside and outside by myself so that I could have many cool moments to myself. Also because these sighs aren’t as big or full as those of the Great Pyramids I had all 3 places to myself. The free lunch back in Giza and water bottles were wonderful too.
