Excursión de un día a las montañas del Atlas desde Marrakech

Such a wonderful experience with such lovely people! From our driver and tour guide to the ArganBioty team and everyone at Riad Oussagou, we felt so well looked after. We had a beautiful, refreshing hike through the Atlas Mountains, with the chance to learn more about Berber culture and local life. We then enjoyed such a delicious lunch at Riad Oussagou, the perfect way to finish the day. Highly recommend this experience if you are looking for a peaceful escape into nature, while discovering the local culture and meeting some truly lovely people.

Everything was well organised. Driver Iounis was calm and safe and informative. Our guide Ibrahim went at a sensible pace. The walk of 8k was beautiful with good views of snowy Atlas up above. A good meal at the end on a terrace with lovely view. No real criticism

This tour seems to focus heavily on upselling, which detracted from the overall hiking experience. While the scenery was lovely, the actual hiking time was around 2.5 hours, and we made several stops at shops and marketplaces. If you're looking for a more immersive experience, I’d recommend opting for longer hikes that focus more on nature.

A great day out that started being picked up from our Riad in Marrakech by the lovely driver Kareem, who drove us up to the starting point for the hike (about an hour or so drive). There we met our guide Ibrahim, who took us out for the day. He saw that we were relatively fit as a couple so suggested we did a different walk than the normal one so that we could see the best views, and the harder walk was definitely worth it! We ate our packed lunches at the peak, and enjoyed the stunning views. On our way back down from the top, we stopped for some mint tea at Ibrahim's house in the village we passed through, and then saw the waterfalls on our way back to the meeting point to drive back to Marrakech. All in all, we were hiking for around 4-5 hours, so a great option for a day out from Marrakech. The terrain was quite rugged in places, so would definitely recommend sturdy shoess/boots. Just back from a days excursion and trek in the high atlas, 5 hour trek was wonderful and Youness and Hassan from Toubkal guides could not have been more helpful, a wonderful experience that I would recommend and I look forward to my next trip next time I’m in Morocco

We had a great time with Ibrahim our driver, he's full of information and good company. A really good day, hopefully we'll have another trip with him next time we visit.

Great trip to the Atlas mountains with a private driver - Lahcen was very kind and had I a comfortable nap in the car on the drive back haha! Our guide for the hike, Mohammed, was excellent and would recommend him for any tour!

Mohammed Amzil (guide) and Hassan (driver) we’re very professional, informative and friendly. Good day trip but some of the trekking is tricky so please wear sensible shoes!!!!
