Katerina was super nice and extremely knowledgeable. She made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend her. Thanks…
Very informative and the tour guide had such passion about the artwork. Easy to locate the guide before the tour.
We really enjoyed the tour as Katerina has a wealth of knowledge and passion about Leonardo and his famous painting.
Katerina was an absolutely fantastic guide. She gave us so much information but also really brought the history of the painting to life in an engaging and humorous way. This tour was very well priced compared to some others we looked at and I can't recommend it highly enough.
Katerina was an excellent guide. She explained all the intrigue and political unrest surrounding the times and the painting superbly. An wonderful experience
Katerina was a marvellous and helpful guide. You can tell she was vet knowledgeable and passionate about the last supper. She could not tell us enough!!! The ticket office and baggage guy were really helpful with storing our luggage. Can’t recommend enough the experience of seeing a Leonardo da vinci original - really WOW!
The guide was extremely informative. I liked the fact that she gave us historical context and made the story come alive. Her explanations were clear and her English was excellent.
It was awesome. Our guide, Catherine, was very knowledgeable and super nice. It was an amazing experience. Thank you all…
Seeing the Last Supper was fabulous, but we were disappointed in our Tour Guide, Katrina. While she was extremely knowledgeable about the art, she could not tell us everything in the time allotted so she took more time... a lot more time. It was too much. She talked so fast it was hard to understand all of it. Once we left the area with the painting, she talked at us again, and then again when we were outside. It was exhausting just listening to her. Her presentation was too long for the time allotted. It was not a good experience. Katrina was also fairly rude to the security at the Last Supper. Our time was up and they asked her several times to leave ... but she just kept talking. Also, a woman was allowed in to view the Last Supper with our group. Katrina made a very rude remark to her about getting all this information without paying for it. Totally unnecessary. Finding where to meet up with our guide was difficult -- no specific instructions when we booked. We accidentally found some people waiting for the same group. Otherwise, I'm not sure we would have known where to go. Glad we saw the Last Supper, but wish we had gone with another group.
Dear ritapI8493DJ, Thank you for taking the time and effort to share your opinion here. I am really sorry to read about your negative experience with me as your guide at the Last Supper. My Last Supper tour lasts exactly one hour and it is sold on Viator with this exact description. Normally, when people purchase an expert guided tour, they want to learn more than what is available on the web and expect the guide to share her/his knowledge with them for the entire duration of the experience they paid for. And that is exactly what the majority of my clients require and like of my tours. Otherwise it would be better just to buy entrance tickets without the guided experience, as that lasts much less, costs also less and nobody “overloads” you with information. Regarding the external individual visitor with just an entrance ticket who during all the time was pretending to be part of my group following me at very close distance in order to get the benefit of a guided tour without paying for it, she was only kindly invited in the end when we were not in front of the painting anymore to leave the group, as it is a matter of respect towards all those people who paid extra price for a guide. And I am honestly a bit surprised that you perceive that as rudeness instead of appreciating it. Regarding the meeting point, there’s normally a link to a pdf file that Viator sends to all the participants together with the confirmation of the tour, where the exact meeting point is clearly indicated. There’s normally also a phone number for a direct contact with the guide indicated in that document. In future, I would recommend that you open that link and read all the important details in order to avoid stress and confusion.
The tour was great. The guide made it that way. But it was too short. We had to rush through to be it before the next group came in.
