We were initially drawn to Barossa Bespoke Tours by Kym’s extensive local knowledge and professionalism, but what stayed with us most was the genuine passion of the people we met throughout the day. Our itinerary took us through Eden Valley and the Barossa, including stops at the Hill of Grace Vineyard and Gruenberg Church, followed by tastings at Henschke, Rockford, Langmeil and Kaesler, lunch at Harvest Kitchen, and a scenic drive through Seppeltsfield. The day was thoughtfully planned, well paced and gave us a broad understanding of the region, rather than simply moving from one cellar door to another. Through conversations with Kym and the cellar-door teams, we could clearly feel the pride they take in their wines and the enthusiasm they have for their work. In an age when professional reviews and technical information are readily available online, what cannot be replicated is the experience of speaking directly with the people behind the wines and hearing the stories, decisions and personal connections that shaped them. Wine has always had a unique ability to bring people together. This tour extended that connection beyond the people sharing the bottle, allowing us to feel closer to the winemakers and to the Barossa itself. Kym was knowledgeable, attentive and highly familiar with the region, while still allowing each visit to feel personal and unforced. It was not only an excellent wine tour, but also a meaningful introduction to the people and culture behind Barossa wine.

A thoroughly informative and insightful Wine Tour with Kym. My partner and I had a private all day tour and were taken to Kaesler, Spinifex, Harvest Kitchen for lunch, then Torbreck and Ballycroft. Kym is not just a local tour guide but a friend to most of the staff at these Wineries and we felt we were given special attention and extra pours from rare ranges because we were with him. It was a wonderful day and we are left with special memories - thank you Kym!

Yesterday was one of those truly memorable days in South Australia. I spent the day exploring Barossa Valley and Eden Valley with Kym, a fantastic local guide: extremely knowledgeable, punctual, kind and genuinely pleasant to be around. Even though he no longer lives in the region, his connection with the place was clear in every story, every stop and every detail along the way. The itinerary was exactly what I had hoped for: Henschke, Yalumba, Seppeltsfield and a beautiful visit to a small producer, Ballycroft Vineyard and Cellars. Each stop had its own personality, history and charm. Lunch at Harvest Kitchen was another highlight : absolutely excellent, relaxed, generous and full of flavour. A perfectly curated day, with incredible places, great conversations and the feeling that I was seeing the Barossa through the eyes of someone who truly understands and loves the region. Thank you, Kym, for such an excellent experience.

We had an incredible day on the Barossa Discovery Day private wine tour. From start to finish, everything was seamless, relaxed and really well organised. Our guide, Kym, was fantastic — friendly, knowledgeable and professional, while still making the day feel personal and easygoing. Truly one of the best wine tours I've experienced. Kym is extremely thoughtful, considerate and eager to show off his hometown and Barossa Valley, which makes this extra special. He lined up a few of the more well known wineries, and then arranged for great sit downs at some of the smaller producers with the owners/winemakers themselves, who really showed off their efforts and products. I cannot recommend Kym and Barossa Bespoke Tours enough!

Kym was fabulous, picked us from the port and returned us safely before departure.We had a wonderful day in the Barossa Valley. Very knowledgeable guide nothing was too trouble . Organised a gluten free lunch as well as wine tasting. Great day . Highly recommend this tour.

Having been to the Barossa 23 years ago we returned with adult children to relieve our memories. However, this meant we needed a bespoke solution to visit the wineries we had seen in our youth. Enter Barossa Bespoke Tours, the fact they’d won the Bronze for the South Australian Tourism awards 2025 was a green flag for me and I wasn’t disappointed. Kym was amazing, he tailored an itinerary based on the places we wanted to go in a heartbeat, it couldn’t have been easier. Kym’s knowledge about the history, the families, the wineries, food and farming along with each areas attractions was profound. His passion kept us entertained from the moment he picked us up. He through in an impromptu stop at the Apex bakery and my son’s standards for meat pies went up a notch or two! He was around to assist, balancing that with space to enjoy our experience.
