Esta actividad exclusiva fue diseñada específicamente para los pasajeros de cruceros que desembarcan en Ponta Delgada. Su experiencia comienza con una visita a la plantación de piña de Santo António, donde podrá explorar los invernaderos, aprender sobre el proceso de cultivo tradicional y degustar piña fresca y licor de piña local. A continuación, una excursión al pintoresco volcán Sete Cidades, disfrutando de impresionantes vistas hasta el mirador Vista do Rei. Te sorprenderá el dramático contraste entre el Lago Azul y el Lago Verde, situados dentro de un cráter volcánico inactivo: una vista realmente fascinante y perfecta para fotografías. A continuación, haremos una parada en el centro de Sete Cidades, teniendo tiempo para visitar la Iglesia neogótica de São Nicolau y descubrir el encanto de esta histórica comunidad. Antes de regresar a Ponta Delgada, el recorrido incluye una parada en el mirador de Escalvado, situado en una impresionante costa de lava.

Considerada como una de las siete maravillas de Portugal, este es un mirador donde los lagos más famosos de las Azores se vislumbran. La laguna azul y verde, son sin duda un lugar único y mágico.
Dentro del volcán Sete Cidades tendrás la oportunidad de explorar los atractivos de este lugar como miradores, el centro parroquial, tomar un café, visitar la iglesia de São Nicolau o pasear por el borde de la Lagoa Azul.
Mirador en altitud sobre la costa desde donde se pueden admirar los enormes acantilados y las rocas negras de los isleños de los Montes. Este será el último punto antes del regreso a Ponta Delgada.
El regreso a Ponta Delgada tarda unos 30 minutos y los viajeros pueden elegir entre alojarse en el centro de la ciudad o en la terminal de cruceros.

Was disappointed as we didn’t get to taste the pineapple or the liquor!
The island is beautiful. Your guide was well versed in the happenings on the island and lifestyle. With that being said, he knew the best places to stop for optimal views of this beautiful place. The tour gave us a good overview of the island and ended at the pineapple “plantation”. The only negative is he went on a tangent about how expensive things are and how tough life can be there. That is everywhere right now and not a highlight of the tour.
We were on a cruise and were asked to meet the tour provider at the terminal. Our tickets stated that we should be there for 9am start. There were 8 of us on a small group tour. We waited in the cruise terminal. The last couple turned up just before 9am and the tour provider said she’d have to cut the tour short as we should have been there for 8.30am. We therefore had to miss the pineapple plantation because she said we had to get back 2 hours before the ship departed. We did however get to see the lakes in the sunshine and were blessed with a rainbow which was the icing on the cake. I would recommend this trip but can I suggest you liaise with cruise travellers the night beforehand and change the time accordingly so they receive the 4 full hours they have paid for.
