It was great expirience, sipatic guide and driver
Our guide, Muhammid, was a lovely guy and very informative. We boarded a minibus with a driver call Mr Sha and set off for Malacca. The city is very old with a long cultural history about 2-hours drive from Kuala Lumpur. It was good to get out of the city for a while, although we weren’t quite sure what to expect. One of the highlights was the boat ride along the river, which was fabulous. We took lots of pictures, it was quite surprising and enjoyable. You could see a lot of money sprucing up the area, creating a lot for us to see, from the original cultural homes of the natives to amusement parks, and restaurants and hotels along the water front. Making it feel very welcoming and homely. Muhammid was brilliant at spotting the monitors on the river & constantly gave us a lot of information throughout the day. He was very knowledgeable. We visited an original church, Portuguese ruins, a Buddhist temple, a mosque, all the times explaining and answering my curious questions. He talked a lot about the history, the local culture and so much more. We also had an amazing lunch at a local restaurant. It was like a mini banquet, several meals each as good as the other. All in all it was an excellent tour made even better by a very obliging & respectful guide and driver. We are quite elderly travellers and both looked after us well, which was much appreciated.

Great day trip! This tour takes you to see a different side of Malaysia, one less hustle and bustle than KL. Our guide, Kugan, was entertaining organized and punctual. His descriptions about life and customs in Malaysia were informative and humorous. Maleka is definitely worth a visit and the river cruise allows you to see so much vibrant street art. My favorite part was probably the last part of the day where I could wander into random shops. I picked up a few art pieces and was exposed to many kore vendors. From a practical standpoint, the vehicle was clean and safe-great driver as well. And everything followed the schedule except a few guests who were repeatedly late (20+ minutes). But that's not the fault of the guides.
Thank you for your wonderful review! We’re delighted to hear that you enjoyed discovering the charming side of Malacca and had a great experience with Kugan. It’s great to know you appreciated his informative and entertaining guidance, the river cruise, local shops, and the smooth organization throughout the day. We truly appreciate your recommendation and hope to welcome you again soon!
