Very fun, informative, and enjoyable for my family, including 2 teenagers. It was a hit for us all! There are a lot of boat tours in Chicago, but we picked this one for the high reviews and recommendations, and we're very glad we did!

We had a great time on our tour! We did it on our first day in Chicago and the knowledge we got from it made the rest of our experience so much richer. The boat was pretty full but we managed to get some good seats, even though we started in the middle of the admission queue. Our tour guide Russell was cursed with a bad mic for the back hour of the 90 minute tour but managed to work around it enough to not dampen the experience. Would definitely recommend this tour for anyone else wanting to take an Architecture tour in Chicago.
Nick was an outstanding docent, sharing all sorts of interesting information about the history of some very important buildings along the river. Friendly and very, very knowledgeable. I would recommend the tour to anyone for a very enjoyable hour and a half getting to know these aspects of the Windy City better, with views you surely wouldn't be able to enjoy otherwise. Great pacing, organized seating process. The tour piques your curiosity in terms of wanting to learn even more about the history of the buildings and the Chicago River itself.

Comfortable ride, informative narrative. Minimal snack offerings, and nonalcoholic drinks are all in cans.
When we travel, often times we don’t take the time to look closely at our surroundings. This was an opportunity to do so and learn more about Chicago history. Be aware that this outfit is non-profit and the tour guide is fantastic, and does so as a volunteer. Tips aren’t allowed. So, it’s actually a better value than the others. There is a bar and restrooms, so it’s comfortable. Even for those who weren’t sure an architecture tour would be fun, were pleasantly surprised. We were a party of six and all of us loved it. Go early enough to get in line for a seat together. Bring sunscreen and a hat!
We thoroughly enjoyed the Architecture River Tour on the First Lady. Tim was so knowledgeable and really kept us engaged with the history of the buildings as well as the area. We would highly recommend this tour!
Harry was terrific. He was informative and entertaining. I'm an actor who is used to people asking me how I remember "all those lines". But really, how does Harry remember all those stats about so many buildings?!
My guide Steve was excellent and I really enjoyed the architecture cruise. I learned a lot about the history of the city and buildings and had a great time aswell
